Just a small stylistic quibble...
What is an “execution-style murder” ??
Why can’t they just write “he was executed” or “he was murdered” or “he was shot in the back of the head while on his knees”?
Nothing makes my stomach churn like media sensationalism involving dead victims...
Its a widespread term, everyone knows what it means. And it also communicates that there was no angry exchange etc. It implies detached coldness. No need to overthink it.
A murder not committed during a fight or combat related or self defense.
You know...with a gun. Have to stick to the narrative and the agenda.
execution implies a fair trial.
