That’s so adorable with your grandchild reciting the Pledge - I’d be tearing up, too!
My sister’s church has a children’s Mass on Christmas Eve with the Stations of the Crib before the Mass. It’s really well done and kids from the school play all the parts with nice costumes and they use one of the parishoner’s babies for baby Jesus in the manger. When my nephew was in Kindergarten or 1st grade, he played one of the wisemen.
When I asked him which one he was going to be, he said “Frank” - LOL. He was Caspar (Gaspar) who carried the frankincense. I was so proud of him and got all teary-eyed.
It’s amazing what kids can do to make us proud and turn to Jell-O.

Our machines worked great. They are touch pad. I didn’t know it was on the PA ballot (too much concentrating on Trump delegates) but I was so happy to vote to ABOLISH the Philadelphia Traffic Court (where I once got a ticket, w/late charges!!! Even tho I have NEVER driven in Philadelphia.). Took months of red tape to get that resolved. They had quite the racket going.
Anyways...my youngest just texted me and I had to come back (here) to post...I was 75 at 8:25a he was 140 at 9:40ish. There can’t be more than 500 voters in our district. Husband will be voting after work at around 6...I’ll report his number then.
Yes. The traffic is so bad sometimes. I rarely go into Seattle proper any more and I used to do it all the time - in fact, at one time I commuted from South Seattle to Everett daily - would not want to do that any more!
