Bryan Adams, next it wasNick Jonas and Demi Lovato have canceled their upcoming tour dates in North Carolina in protest of North Carolina's controversial Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act (HB2) law. Widely perceived as being anti-LGBTQ, the stars join artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Boston as acts who have recently pulled the plug on North Carolina shows in response to the new law.
"After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to cancel our Honda Civic Tour: Future Now shows in Raleigh and Charlotte. One our our goals for the tour has always been to create an atmosphere where every single atendee feels equal, included, and accepted for who they are," they wrote in part in a statement posted on both of their Twitter accounts.

Up in Asheville the local press is having daily seizures over these artists boycotting the state and the “negative” image it sends to the rest of the country.
I fail to see the problem.
So, with this decision, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas prove that you don't have to provide products or services to people if you disagree with their beliefs. You can protest their beliefs by refusing service. Got it.
So, that is a lot people cancelling supposed concerts.
I would think the venue and assorted vendors would sue under breach of contract
....if there ever was a concert contracted for and scheduled
People need to stop giving into the Homowood and the Entertransgender crowd! Don’t waist your money on their music or movies. If everyone didn’t spend your hard earned cash on them they would shut up! I quit years ago and don’t miss them.
They keep saying these words. I do not think these words mean what they think they mean.
Sooner or later, NE progressives eventually have to flee the utopian hellholes their wants and desires have created, only to create another utopian hellhole wherever they move to...like North Carolina, for example.
But now with no transgender friendly bathrooms in NC, maybe those wandering progressives will have to fly over, drive around or drive through without stopping, taking their infection elsewhere!
How cool is that?!? NC has found a way to quarantine itself against the disease!

Not too long ago, the CEO of Starbucks said that he didn’t want the business of anyone who opposed gay marriage. I have since obliged his wishes.
So, who besides Catholics every made a boycott stick to the point that it forced Hollywood or anyone else to follow guidelines that limited the immorality blasted at the public every day?
Or, is that exactly the issue you prefer to avoid by changing the subject ?
You might want to drop the knee jerk, based on BS, propaganda that pretends anyone who was baptized Catholic as a child is still Catholic when they vote while all the goot Baptiss folk who vote nearly 100% democrat don't count as non-Catholic Christian voters.

I didn't change the subject. I added clarity to your uninformed statement. You don't like the results which I cannot help.
Catholics overwhelmingly voted for JFK and LBJ. LBJ is the one who brought us the Great Society.
Catholics then voted again in majority for Humphrey.
I think you would be best served by squaring away your fellow catholics. You do that and then we can talk.
Good point. NC is doing a great job at driving out the trash.
