Grant Neal is suing Colorado State University-Pueblo for kicking him out over sex that the woman agrees was fully consensual. More important, he’s also suing the federal Education Department for virtually ordering the school to deprive him of his due-process rights.

This case is egregious and I hope he ends up OWNING the school.
This is as bad, if not worse, than Duke LaCrosse.
I think in addition to some wheelbarrows of cash, the head of the school needs to be fired and the head of the athletic department needs to apologize to him and his family.

Simple solution, all sex outside of marriage should be considered rape. Its the only way for colleges to be sure.

The Obama Administration has taken the Title 9 of the education code that said you had to be equal for boys and girls, which led to cutting men’s teams or adding girls’ lacrosse and softball, to a new extreme. Their NEW interpretations of this include:
* if your college gets federal funding, the college has to adopt processes in the name of fighting rape culture such as: not informed of charges, no right to an attorney at hearings, ability to expel you or ban you from school for all but classes if found guilty, inability to cross-examine the rape accuser, broad definition of rape, minimal guilt standard (50%+smidgen), limited to no ability to give evidence or call witnesses to defend yourself, permission for the investigating organization to also be the tribunal source.
In the most egregious cases, men were found guilty by schools of rape and expelled when police did not pursue criminal charges, a guy told to avoid contact with a student because he merely LOOKED like her rapist from across the country, seeking to punish a professor who suggested a raped female student go to the police instead of women’s studies tribunal, and a female feminist writer who wrote an article questioning official rape statistics of one in five.

How do you get that out of a story about a male being prosecuted by a college for sex that the female says was 100% consensual?

I’ve spend time with Grant and his Dad. Our kids played 8th grade football on the same team for a season; then against each other for 4 years of HS ball; then with each other again down at CSU-P. Solid family. Solid kid. Perfect? Of course not.
