Yes, he has talked about it, but rambles on with his Cruz position.

Laura did not challenge Cruz on TPP, the very issue she is adamant about normally. Cruz is going to bring back manufacturing dontcha know, another steal from Trump, and Laura says NOTHING.

I’m in neither of those categories anymore! So I’ll always listen to Rush even though he’s been annoying me lately.

Wait, is Rush correct? Is Cruz ONLY seeking to get delegates in second round?

I don’t think that’s the case. I think many of these efforts are in fact aimed at flipping them on the first round.

He's doing the whole "it's the rules" thing again.

Great campaign slogan: Cruz 2016. He knew the rules.

Time to turn this garbage off.

"I can only stand about 5 minutes of him & come here to see what he says after that"

You missed out on Talk Radio Boot Camp. Rush isn't that bad no matter how much he shoves his proboscis up the GOPe rump.

In the Reagan era, before Rush came along, LA talk radio was dominated by a Hollywood leftist, an English import who went by the name of Michael Jackson (Michael Robin Jacobs).

Because there wasn't any competition I'd listen that oily limousine liberal for three hours in the morning. Now that toughens you up. It's comparable to enduring Michael Medved today.

“Yes, he has talked about it, but rambles on with his Cruz position.”

He has always seemed - until this political season, like he had the ability to reason. He must surely, then, know what Ted Cruz CANNOT and WILL NOT win the general election if he’s our nominee.

In a rational world, he would be joining the call for Cruz to drop out and not further endanger our changes of winning against Hillary. I haven’t gotten the slightest hint of this from him, however. Indeed, his insistence that “it’s not over!” today suggests that he’s simply not thinking straight.

That’s obvious now. I think this move will be his downfall. I almost throw up every time he says Lindsey Graham endorses him....

I don’t know why he doesn’t consider it. I think he thinks that if he can convince his audience that using the delegate/ballot rules is the true and only way to win a presidential election, his listeners will be pacified. But it’s not working out that way.

Of course, I do believe Cruz is not above trying to influence the first ballot. I believe in my heart he’s perfectly suited to cheating.

CO obviously wasn’t about the second ballot.

I wish someone would call and ask if regular Republican voters with jobs and families should have to spend hours, if not days, at caucus after caucus to make sure that their will is expressed in the delegate selection. The sane answer of course is no.

Only party apparatchiks have that kind of time to devote to politics, which is why some of these states (CO, WY) have gone to that type of system.

They haven’t legally shut the voters out, but they have functionally done so, and that is wrong.

Making sure our voice is heard by the Republican Party shouldn’t be a full time job.

How much does Graham despise the gentleman from Texas? He’s stopped short of accusing Cruz of being the Zodiac Killer, but he’s made his disdain known several times, publicly.

On the Larry Kudlow Show in December, Graham suggested Cruz’s Middle East policy would literally be cataclysmic: “Ted Cruz’s wanting to keep Assad in power is the dumbest idea possible. It means the war never ends,” Graham said. “What Cruz and others are doing is going to make sure that another 9/11 happens.”

After dropping out of the race, Graham described the choice between Trump and Cruz as a deadly no-win situation: “It’s like being shot or poisoned,” Graham said at a Capitol Hill press conference in January. “What does it matter?”

At the Washington Foundation Press Club’s congressional dinner in February, Graham went a step further by joking about Cruz’s murder: “If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you.”

Rush Limbaugh, the unprincipled conservative. Rush can’t put out enough BS and spin to change the fact that Ted is going to state conventions and working to have disloyal delegates assigned to Trump for delegate slots Trump won through votes of the voters.

First ballot, second ballot, all BS. Maneuvering to have disloyal delegates assigned to the winner of the delegate slots might be legal, but it is also unethical, immoral, dishonest, backstabbing, etc., etc., and trying to obtain through politics and maneuvers something the voters did not award you at the ballot box.

Everything the Nazis did was also legal.

Just following orders.

Just following the rules.

I agree. I think he’s trying to flip on the first ballot. I feel it in my bones.

Rush was saying he didn’t see anything wrong with what Ted has been doing - the RULZ, you know - since years and years and years.

Rush is not acknowledging why people are having the perception that it is a rigged system. He is not acknowledging that it has ALWAYS been a rigged system. Well, at least he acknowledged that this is one of the rare times when all of us are being treated to witnessing the sausage making. But he’s clearly not on our side with respect to those RULZ and the need to have a discussion about whether to reform them or form a new party.

Donald imho, is not whining and trying to get them to change the rules now - he actually said he was proud of himself for exposing the system.

Go Donald!
