Does Rush really think playing these obnoxious Cruz clips helps him?

Yeh. I know what you’re saying. He’s eventually going to have to deal with Realville.

Every time he plays Cruz, St. Ted is angry, whining, and everything he says Trump is.

Nearly every comment out of Cruz's mouth begins with 'Donald said this' or 'Donald said that' or 'Donald is ...'

Cruz is running AGAINST someone -- Donald.

Donald is running FOR something -- to Make America Great Again.

Kasich WAS running for the VP slot, but this coalition with Cruz may have ruined that. Cruz will NOT get the nomination on a 2nd or 70ieth ballot and Kasich may be seeing his leverage for the VP slot vaporizing.

I was always on the fence for Cruz or Trump...but after this coalition with Kasich...I am no longer...

I was pleasantly surprised when Rush questioned why Cruz did not side with Trump against the establishment. VERY telling.

” The perception now is widespread that the GOP is deliberately trying to squeeze out the voters.”

And while that view once might have been confined only to activists at FR it’s way bigger than that now.

The hacks haven’t caught on yet. They can’t control the message or the debate in the decentralized world of the internet.

Yeah, she is letting him steamroll her. She is giving him way too much leeway.

I’ve never understood why our pundits use the velvet glove on our candidates and go for the knock out with dems. Often over the same issues and positions.

Yes, what I’ve been saying for months-—his willingness to take GOPe money, to get on stage with GOPe idiots like Graham, to accept (even crave) their endorsements. He is certainly not “the outsider.”

Only lasted 40 minutes today listening to rush towing the establishment line! He might as well have a 30 minute show on now a days for all he’s worth.

Trump got in Cruz’s way to the presidency and he’s now obsessed with him. He tells stupid lies that Trump is scared, hiding in Trump Tower, when Trump is actually barnstorming the country and actually winning the votes of Republican primary voters. It’s basically made his head explode. Of course, only in his own mind, did he ever have a real shot...

Why can’t Rush consider the obvious ramifications of Cruz “playing by the rules” (as he puts it) at the convention?

I’d love for some caller to ask him if he realizes that if this happens millions of people will not vote and Hillary will win the election. Does that bother him? Does he consider that in the slightest? I haven’t heard a hint of it.

The electorate is changing, and so is Rush’s audience.

People under 50 do not listen to AM radio. Under 30 they don’t listen to radio at all.

Less affluent voters to whom social issues were important would nonetheless vote for Milton Friedman supply-side economics as part of the whole Conservative package. Now that our biggest corporations have become muscle for the gay lobby to fight bathroom bills, that alliance has been blown to smithereens. If I’m going to have trannys in my restroom I’m voting to stop these trade treaties, dammit!

This is all adding up to a looming Rush retirement IMHO.

Way bigger than FR. It is all over Facebook.

Ted stepped in it when it was so easy to play fair and win.

Here’s a caller giving it the college try to persuade Rush to “get the point” of what the callers last week were saying.

I’m having trouble tracking -

“I don’t see anything wrong with what Cruz is doing.”
