Latest FOX News Polls Show Trump Will Easily Hit 1,237 Delegate Threshold

Two new FOX News polls show GOP front-runner with huge leads in Indiana and California.

Donald Trump is up 8 points in Indiana.

Donald Trump laps the field in California.

Trump has more support than Kasich and Cruz combined in California.

The latest polling numbers shows that Trump will easily hit the 1,237 delegate threshold.

For the record — We predicted this for a month now.

We also predicted weeks ago that Ted Cruz will be mathematically eliminated on Tuesday, April 26.

If he has the delegates - the establishment can dump him and vote for Hillary.

More Democrats will vote for Trump than the Ricketts ,Senator Ben Sasse and Mitt Romney.

Trump will carry Nebraska no matter what those idiots do.

-- The uninformed voter seems to be a thing of the past. --

Hardly! Although Trump has ginned up interest for this presidential election cycle, I figure the voters are more uninformed than ever. The press hasn't obtained a penchant for honesty, and the "common voter" always reaches a preference more on emotion, self-interest, and superficial considerations, than on reason. We are a highly persuadable sound-bite society.

Just for the record, Jim Hoft, I predicted here on FR, at least as early as last AUGUST (maybe July) that Trump would be the nominee.

Once he has the delegates, those who try to usurp the voters are in for a surprise. We usually sit back and complain but I believe many would organize/march/demonstrate if they continue after he’s won it.

On Trump, people didn’t believe it in August, they snorted with derision in February, they thought he was buried in WI in early April.

Now as the month is winding down to its last days, its finally dawning on people (gulp) that he is the presumptive nominee.

If it was any one else, the MSM would already be declaring the race over.

Some jobs are handled better, often much better, by men.

To think a woman can do those jobs is foolish and smacks of defeatism.

Observe how quickly polls change. They coordinate quite nicely with events. An example is that voterless delegate selection in CO and WY boosted Trump's level of success in NY, and seems to have enhanced Trump's numbers in Tuesday's states.

Then there's Cruz's making bathroom access an issue. It does seem that Cruz is using it effectively to keep some of his more comatose supporters on board. But most voters? We're seeing through the usual social issue scare tactics and keeping our eye on the prize. That's turning things around for the US, while leaving the social issues to states.

I just hope that trump makes time to personally swing by EVERY state and soon, to speak to the people about unity and defeating hillary

Including colorado

Don’t want to hear the complaints that he never set foot in a state and expects their vote now or next summer

Cruz’s problem is that his brand of conservatism doesn’t wear well outside TX.

And even the South didn’t warm up to him. It all went downhill when he lost SC.

Yet he still appeals to 100% of delegates in some states to ignore the votes of f their citizens and give him precious votes and split the party for his own ordained goals

Maybe Ted has a future in televangelism after this

I do agree that the “bad week for Trump” meme, based on the transgender, tax the rich and I forget what the third item was, didn’t hurt Trump, and probably helped him. And I also agree, that shows a bit more “thinking” on the part of the voters. But come the general election, which shouldn’t even be close, and millions of people will vote for whichever loser the DEM party advances.

Very realistic assessment. If Kasich finishes 3rd in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, it is over for him and becomes a true one on one. At least half of those Kasich voters, probably more, move to Trump.

Kasich has a big enough ego to hang in until Indiana, but that will probably hurt Cruz more than Trump.

The Democrats could run Stalin and he would win in November.

Hillary is damaged goods but right now the election is hers to lose.

You should include a legend denoting the meaning of the acronym. What is a WTA, P, RCP?

I absolutely hate Kasich & Rubio, but there is some logic to putting Kasich on the ticket as VP. For one thing, it can help win Ohio (which is a must win). I am not sure what Rubio buys Trump, as I think Trump could carry Florida w/o him.

The thing I would worry about is Trump getting impeached or having an “accident”, with Kasich waiting in the wings.

I think Cruz would be okay on SCOTUS.

If he was already mathematically eliminated, why has he (and for that matter Kasich) not dropped out of the race? Didn’t he call for Rubio to drop out when Rubio lost his home state of Florida? I will freely admit for voting for Cruz In the Texas primary. I also admit to being sickened by his shenanigans of late. ‘Wooing’ of the delegates may be legal but is far from ethical in the eyes of average Republican voters.

Manafort most likely has people preparing for the lib onslaught of dirty tricks and intimidation inspired by Ted Cruz and his campaign managers.
