ARE YOU TOO BUSY FOR GOD?
This means we must commit ourselves to hearing the Lord's voice. How else can we know and do the will of our Heavenly Father? It means that we have a particular commitment to the God-ordained transformation that needs to occur within us so that we may reflect the King of Glory's character. When we decide to be open to the Lord of Heaven, He transforms our lives, and we experience a quietness in our spirit, a confidence in our heart, a dogged determination in our mind, and an increasing faith in our soul. Why not ask God to help you determine whether you are the person He wants you to be? After all, if you are too busy for God, then you really are too busy! God will provide us with the strength and courage we need to confront and overcome anything that comes our way. So....embrace God's love a-new today, and Be Happy!!

Howdy, Conor. *Hugz*
Ohboyohboyohboy! Planting time at last! Are tomatoes and peppers the only yummies you’re planting or will you put a few others out later?

Well, the temp was up a little today but the wind has been pretty stiff. Makes it feel cooler. Tomorrow, we go back into the 80s and it’ll stay hot the rest of the week.
Bummer you didn’t get the rain you need. We got a whopping .1 inch so we didn’t do much better.
See ya when you get back from KFC.

Good evening, Radu!
*HUGS*
Peppers and tomatoes - and a couple Tomatillos for salsa verde. We also picked up some Basil to use in pesto sauce. Annuals - Ageratum and Vince - my old standbys. Rosemary - tender in this area. I have wintered it over successfully in the past, but not the last two years.
I will get some marigolds and summer bulbs next week.

Sounds like you’re more than ready to get down in the dirt to play. :-)
I do ok with flowers but my two attempts at growing veggies didn’t work out too well. There’s barely a hint of green in my thumb. That’s why there are farmers markets! LOL! And we have a couple of good ones close by to get fresh goodies.
Any idea what summer bulbs you want this year or are you still thinking about it?

Yes, as expected...no flowers yet.
My brother called and will be here for about 10 days starting next week. His slope job has ended. He got caught in the "price of oil layoffs". He and his wife are moving out of Tennessee and to Hamilton, GA...much closer to the water as they finish the boat.

Well, you did try to tell her, for all the good it did. LOL
Have a good dinner?
So now your brother gets to experience the “fun” you have? Hoo boy, is he in for a treat!
Bummer about the layoff, though. I hope he’ll still be able to get that beautiful boat ready for the sea. That was the whole reason for going back up there.
I hope they like it in GA. I don’t know anything about the area they’re moving to other than it’s HOT in the summer. I hope he’ll be in TN a little while before going down there so he can acclimate to the heat and humidity of the south again.

She was really happy with her dinner. She said it more than once, so I’ll have to remember KFC maybe a couple times a month. Like I said, rarely does she request something. It’s like pulling teeth to get an answer from her about “what would you like”?

I gather KFC hasn’t been a regular suggestion in the past. Sounds like it worked out well and yes, you need to suggest it in the future. Whatever works, right? LOL
Later today I get to have my brain rattled. It’s visit Aunt Clara day and I hope it’s one of her good days. Our conversations always go in circles but on good days, they’re 5-minute circles rather than 2-minute.
At least she knows who I am. Hubby goes so rarely that when he went last week, she thought he was her brother! He looks nothing like his uncle so I don’t know why she came up with that.
Stuff like we’re dealing with sure doesn’t give us any reason to want to be that old, does it?
