Colorado delegate: Trump aide said 'We're moving forward' (Manafort)
CNN ^ | Chris Frates

A Republican National Convention delegate from Colorado said Friday that Donald Trump's senior adviser told him the campaign was dropping its challenge to rival Ted Cruz's sweep of the state's delegates -- an account the campaign is disputing.

Guy Short, a national delegate from Colorado and member of the convention's rules committee, said he approached Trump's convention manager, Paul Manafort, after he gave Republican Party insiders a private briefing in Florida earlier this week and asked about Trump's threat to challenge what the billionaire has called a "rigged" system.

"Is the Trump campaign going to challenge the credentials of the Colorado delegation? And he said, 'no,'" Short, a Cruz supporter, said. According to Short, Manafort "said, 'Cooler heads have prevailed. We're moving forward. We're trying to unite the party.'" But Manafort characterized the exchange as a "passing comment," not a change of position, downplaying its significance.

He said he would characterize his conversation with Short as "we are sorting (the) matter out and left it consistent with the Trump position," Manafort said in an email to CNN. "The Trump campaign is investigating if these issues should trigger a credentials challenge. A final decision will be made when our investigation is finished."

Are any of your neighbors-volunteers now delegates?

Those who went to the state convention and did make ‘the selection’ represent .06% of registered Republicans. Some state primaries have a 40% turnout.

Why would Cruz supporters and delegates (who happen to be in the CO state legislature) want to stop a primary election for their republican constituents?

FORWARD!

Does Comrade Manafort have a red star logo on his super-hero underoos?  Or maybe he's just a typical, stupid, political prostitute "operator" riding this year's gravy train.

A lobbyist a kind of lawyer. Lawyers advocate for their clients, even when they’re less than savory. When Cruz was a private practice lawyer he also advocated for some less than stellar human beings:

“Among them, Mr. Cruz helped defend a Chinese tire company facing a $26 million jury verdict for copying technology stolen from a U.S. businessman, work that contrasts with the current anti-China rhetoric of rival Donald Trump. He also participated in two New Mexico personal-injury cases that sought to preserve historically large punitive damages, despite supporting sharp limits on such payouts elsewhere.”

Cruz vigorously advocated for his clients, just as Manafort vigorously advocated for his.

What sort of ‘conservative’ picks a campaign manager who has a history of dirty tricks so heinous that a “target” commits suicide ?

TED CRUZ

There I fixed it.

“Trump never needed, or expected to receive, any delegates from CO-—or MT, NE, or UT for that matter.”

“Instead, Trump got a massive PR boost and made Ted look petty and corrupt.”

“win/win”

>>Are any of your neighbors-volunteers now delegates?

The precinct delegates voted among themselves for who would be the state delegates.

A Republic is a system of government characterized by the Rule of Law.

You got a problem with that conservative process?

Suicide is a personal choice — Just like Manafort’s personal choice to try and prop up a communist thug in Ukraine.

You can defend the tyranny all you want, and you can even win on points.

In real life, however, you’ve lost this issue big time.

But please, don’t stop.

even 1236 delegates “doesn’t meet the requirements"

The R wing of the uniparty (GOPe) lead by Ted Cruz will not go down without a fight. They are terrified of an honest patriotic American becoming POTUSA. I hope the SS people watching over Trump are very good. And I hope Trumps' aircraft is watched 24/7 by very good people too.

Bumping more data on the voter fraud that happened in Colorado

Scruz may have got the delegates in Co., that deceit has cost him primary votes in other states. The polls indicate that since 18 April, he has been entering free fall.

Did Cruz know the owners of the Chinese tire company that stole American technology were commies? Yes. And still he advocated for commies AGAINST Americans, something not even Manafort did.

Cruz is underperforming.

2. This isn't about Cruz. It's about what sort of damage control conservatives can expect to be doing as President Trump wobbles America down the path.

Unless you've got a factory refurbished Magic 8 Ball, there is nothing to indicate that America is going to 'wobble' with President Trump in office. He's got Senator Jeff Sessions as part of his organization, Phyllis Schlafly, the Godmother of modern conservatism is solidly behind Trump, Sarah Palin as well, Trump has plenty of conservative allies, advisers and supporters.

And NONE of them have been shrieking away about Paul Manafort. Manafort may have done some consulting in the Ukraine, but that doesn't make him a 'collaborator'.

Manafort was a key adviser in Reagan's campaigns, so what's your problem with him?

They are assured a loss if they take this from Trump.

The uniparty does not care if its' R wing or D wing wins. Either uniparty Hillary or uniparty Cruz is fine them. The only one that scares the uniparty is Trump.

What's the issue articulated in Romans chapter 1?

Because of what?

Gave them over to what?

Think about that next time you're screeching in the collectivist bass section on Sunday AM.

Suicide is a tragedy for the human being who dies and all who love him or her. It is unbearably sad.
