LifeZette has also confirmed with the Mississippi Trump campaign that the text is legitimate and was indeed received by one of their team, however local campaign chairman Mitch Tyner has refused to comment.
The roughly 280 state convention delegates who will be elected on April 23 go on to elect the delegates to the National Convention. Given that Gov. Bryant has endorsed Cruz, its possible these vicious, strong-arm tactics have been employed in Cruzs favor, however the references to McDaniel and Cruz supporters suggest this is unlikely.
Instead it seems that Bryant and Nosef are working to ensure they have pro-Kasich or White Knight delegates prepared for a 2nd or 3rd ballot in Cleveland.
Make no mistake about it. Mississippi is pro-Kasich country. This is from Kasichs website:
Kasich? Are you serious? Where is the RNC? Are they going to investigate this? Will Kasich denounce these tactics?
WE DON'T NEED NO STEENKING BADGES!

I couldn't find an author listed, but I think it is Wayne Dupree as it is mentioned that the author traveled with the TPX back when McDaniel was pushed out of the running because of eGOP dirty tricks.
I was there too, so whoever it is I know him/her.
This was at the bottom of the article:
It seems the GOP is over the top because they havent been able to find a way to defeat Trumps message for the last 7.5 months. This is appalling in the highest form. What are your thoughts after reading this? Share your opinions below in our comment section!

Kasich looks like an ugly, old, and drunk Indiana Jones...
The corruption of the GOP (note, no “e”) knows no bounds.
Misleading headline.
Magnolia state ping
The RNC is behind Kasich I believe.
I wonder when and how the Mississippi GOP became so pro-amnesty, pro-open borders and pro-any trade agreement anyone can dream up. That’s how their most prominent politicians have swung for years now and John Kasich shares those views on immigration and trade policy.
Is this really what the voters of Mississippi support?
The Cheap Labor Express must have their amnesty candidate.
All those people listed are employees.
“I told you this can happen one of two ways, Nosefs menacing text reads?
Nosef? It’s a bit of a convention that if you reference someone, the reader should know who they are. Who the hell is “Nosef”?
A badge might refer to the Convention officials who are charged with keeping order and enforcing the rules. I used to be a delegate in WA State. The last convention that I attended as a Precinct Officer, a Republican Establishment guy, who was in charge of the marshals credentialed a Democrat and assigned her to watch over me because I had made some powerful waves against the Establishment and the Democrat NGOs that they were partnering with.
These people can really flex their muscles when they want to.
One reform which is overdue: when a candidate wins a number of delegates, HE should be the one appointing the delegates, not the party officials.
We are witness to desperation.
Bump!
Kasich looks ill.
We’re gonna need more popcorn.
Just looked. Trump won 25 delegates out of Mississippi. Cruz got 15, and Kasich got 0.
They are following the rules.
So what if Trump & Cruz won 84% of the Mississippi primary vote and Kasich only won 9% of the vote.
It’s Cruz’s fault for not knowing the rules in Mississippi. It’s not Kasich’s fault Cruz failed to arm his people with guns and badges.
Cruz should quit whining, bend over, and take it. Rules are rules.
