U.S. authorities seized another cross-border tunnel, this time in San Diego, just weeks after a similar tunnel was uncovered in Calexico, Calif., a two-hour drive to the east.
The 874-yard-long tunnel was uncovered, on Wednesday, after a months-long investigation, authorities said. The tunnel was equipped with a rail system, lighting, a ventilation system, and even a commercial elevator on the Mexico-side that could fit up to ten people, authorities said.
Laura Duffy, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of California, said the tunnel was “a bit ingenuous” and “completely different” than any of the tunnels her office had seen before. She also said the operation was unusual because the tunnel was built not only to smuggle marijuana, but cocaine as well.

Racist as in code word for seditious. Because we know the CIA/FBI use drug money to finance Cartel drug money tomprevent gun ownership and Zapata separatism in Mexico.

I’m a civil (structural) engineer. Cocaine would be easy. With say a 4 inch pipe I’d think you could introduce water and pump the cocaine over 900 feet as a slurry. Dewater it and repackage it on the far side.
Pumping cash back, significantly more challenging though.
During the Vietnam war the army did experiments with tear gas tarps & leaf blowers to clear tunnel complexes. My thought is drop in some CS gas ,cover the entrance with tarps & stick in the muzzle of a couple of leaf blowers to move the gas to the Mexican side . Meanwhile someone is in a cherry picker with binoculars looking for folks bailing out of a building.
Toss in Vomiting agent Grenades to make it fun.
The Cartels regularly let the cops capture something to keep them on the upward promotion track and thus more valuable to the Cartel.
Saw it happen again and again.
