I started supporting him, and now I’m ending up to despise him as well.

I have a friend who calls to tell me how disappointed she is with Trump, whom she voted for in the primary. She can't stop complaining about his mouth, his hands, can't-he-act-more-presidential?, he never talks about specific policies, etc, etc, etc.

Well, yesterday, she calls me whining that Trump is getting taken for a ride by Cruz in the delegate count behind the scenes, saying Cruz is snatching delegates right out from under Trump's nose. And bitch, bitch, bitch, ad infinitum.

So I challenged her to pick at better candidate than Trump from those remaining. She despises Cruz, even though she is an evangelical conservative. She laughed at Kasich. She questioned whether I was serious when I ask if she would vote for Bernie. And it wasn't just no, but hell no, for Hillary.

So I told her I guess she was stuck with Trump and she replied, "Yeah, but I hate him too!"

And that folks, is where I think we find ourselves in this 2016 election. In fairness and full disclosure, I support Trump.

Right there with you.

I don’t despise him but I’ll never vote for him again. For anything.

Same here normally I am a "Broken Glass" Republican though the Romney Fiasco started me down the road to a cure for such yet I still voted for him in the general. This year I vote for Trump in the general even if Cruz manages to get the nomination in a contested convention. I will not vote for Cruz, no way no how.

I didn’t buy into him for president, but I was willing to go V.P. or SCOTUS appointment.

Now, I’ve written him off.

Sad really.

There’s something about that guy.

My choice, too. Until about June 30th of last year.

Ditto. Early on this even led to some pretty serious disagreements with Mrs. Soldier. Turns out she was right, (she had Trump from the beginning) and I was wrong. I gave up on Cruz on a Friday night in Chicago when Cruz refused to defend Trump's 1st amendment rights.

Since that time I have come to dispise Cruz. Can't stand the guy! Hypocrite, far more establishment than he had previously let on, marriage of convenience like the Clintons, smarmy debater/speaker overtly full of himself, divider, has records sealed just like Obama, foreign born just like Obama, uses fake name just like Obama, and the list goes on.

At this point I am definitely a Never Cruz voter. I feel exactly about him like I feel about the Clintons, the Obamas, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, and Lindsay Graham.
