The Missouri GOP held county caucuses two weeks ago to elect delegates to attend the state convention in Branson, Missouri on May 20th and 21st. Donald Trump won Missouri and was awarded 25 delegates to 15 for Ted Cruz.
The Cruz people want to make sure their supporters replace Trump delegates to the national convention. They are actively working to thwart the will of the people of Missouri.
Last week we reported on how Cruz supporters were replacing Trump delegates with Cruz delegates after the district elections.
Today St. Louis television and radio host Jamie Allman posted this update on the Missouri shenanigans.
Annette Read, a Trump supporter, discovered this latest discrepancy. One St. Louis County couple won district races in Queeny district and Missouri River district. The McMillions won a slot on the Queeny district.

Did you see anything that showed the voting preference(s) for these two?
Or are we supposed to assume they're Cruz supporters?
yup
yup
“Start spreadin’ the news....”
in this case the excuse “just following rules” is the little brat sister of the excuse “just following orders”.... there are some things you just know are wrong to do
Ted is behaving like a petulant child seeking to cause mischief
Disgusting
Ted’s folks going in after the primary to be ‘selected’ so they don’t have to vote trump and can vote Cruz may well be within the rules. Doesn’t make it right or moral. It is the kind of thing the Barbours do in Mississippi
exactly, i don’t remember the national enquirer’s little sister- gateway pundit- running headlines “Shocking! Donald Trump nearly Tied with Ted Cruz, but Donald walks away with 70% of the delegate4s” When that happened in one state- no “UNREAL!!!” headlines about voters being disenfranchised then— infact not a peep abotu the ‘unfair sysyem’ or ‘slimy exploitation’ then0-
To the usual Cruz guys who repeat their straw man arguments:
1. There is a difference between
- a) Awarding delegates according to formulae according to the vote of the people and
- b) Subverting the process so that a delegate for one candidate actually favors another, and will work at the convention in opposition to the people who elected them.
Yes, the latter is according to party rules. Apparently there is no mental connection among the Cruz camp that “I’m running against the establishment” and “I’m subverting the voters’ wishes in favor of the establishment” have any conflict with each other. True doublethink in Orwellian fashion; X and not-X believed simultaneously without mental distress. Congratulations?
2. It also fails to occur to Cruz fans that nobody else shares the opinion that this rules-gaming is oh-so-clever, and that in fact for each instance where the establishment gins up delegates this way, more voters are disgusted by both the GOP and by Cruz.
Suppose all these insider games work, and Cruz walks out of the convention as the nominee. Will that nomination speech in front of a half-empty hall look good? Do you suppose that people in states Trump won, who voted against the Uniparty, will turn around and vote Cruz? Keep in mind here, on FR, you’re writing to the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy; imagine how the union guy who voted against unfair trade, the college student tired of PC madness, the IT worker hoping to avoid displacement by H1Bs will react.
The Cruz posters seem so gleeful when they post about how a Trump delegate position is subverted, but for everyone else it’s like watching a 3-year old breaking a toy and clutching the broken parts yelling “mine! Mine! MINE!”
Nice response
Jealous. So green it makes you sick. Sorry you are suicidal. It’s not trumps fault Cruz insulted New Yorkers. You guys swore up and down Cruz would win New York. Ha! Not when voters vote. You should know Cruz sucks when voters get to have fair elections.
Another absurd Trumpet post. NOBODY ever expected, or claimed, that Cruz would beat Trump in NY. As for suicidal, you must be projecting. I am happy as a clam, sorry you aren’t. Maybe you need to look into anger management, or a class on how to conduct civil discussions.
Oh please. People here were saying Cruz was campaigning upstate so he can beat trump in New York. You are such a liar at times. You are still a novice compared to Cruz though.
Did they recently move and not notify the voter registration board? I called MO when I moved and told them. The lady was shocked.
It is hardball politics. The kind the left plays. It is moot anyway. The R electorate wants the guy with the most votes to win the nomination and despite all the teeth gnashing here they don’t have the balls to fly in the face of that. For all his liberal warts Trump will be the nominee and would be better than the two commies from the D side. I would hope Trump plays hardball with the left as he did with the right. It will be very tough for him to beat the beast. He will need all votes and the sooner his supporters understand that the better his chances will be. Trump will not win the race unless he can get his inner ahole under control. Last night was a good start.
