A hospital is persuading women who want to terminate their pregnancies to have the babies so it can sell them for $1,400 each to childless couples.
The shocking baby farm has been exposed at the 30-bed Palash Hospital in the Gwailor district of India. Two of the sold babies have since been rescued by police.

I don’t know all the details but think it is not a bad idea if well administered. 1400 a low figure.. but this is India. Some situation where it is 50/50 split for mom and brokers. Stuff like this goes on in US under raps..
Now that I think about it, how is this any different than adoption agencies that charge a small fortune to adopters?
“Cops bust”.
They didn’t bust planned parenthood for ripping apart newborn babies.
“Two of the sold babies have since been rescued by police.”
What are they going to do with the babies? Give them to planned parenthood so they can get a little income and finish the job of aborting them?
“rescued”?
I’d say the babies were rescued when they were adopted!
Wait for Super Coupon Tuesdays. You can get twins for $1,000. And they honor all competitors prices!
Not sure I have a huge problem with this. Let me think.....these babies would otherwise die? Yeah ok. I’m pretty sure this is better
No doubt.
The free market works!
Their attitude seems to be - Yeah, shut it down, because the abortionists are losing business.
Orphanage children are often sickly or have disabilities, are older than newborn, or are not available for adoption because of conflicting legal claims.
Sell baby? Kill baby?
Well still. I’d hope that the adoption process would be made easy enough to give would-be abortion clients a plausible alternative, if they cannot, or do not wish to, keep the child personally.
Absolutely. Nobody is healthier dead.
I’d rather see them adopted out for a ‘modest fee’, than parted out for a killing.
Still, the slavery/human trafficking aspect rears its ugly head.
What an odd negative tone for an article in the Post. Isn’t this the same thing that hospitals with orphanage operations have always done ? How does a $1400 “purchase price” differ from “adoption fees” ? They refer to it as “baby trafficking” and mention “slavery” but give no supporting info to differentiate this from allowing couples to adopt unwanted babies. I think even in America, it is legal for a hospital/adoption agency to convince a women to put her child up for adoption and waive the hospital charges or have the adopting couple for them.
