Agreed in principle. At very best, Cruz would win the same states as Romney. Most importantly, he wouldn’t win any new ones. Accordingly, Cruz would CERTAINLY lose.
I like what he stands for, but he has little charisma. The Goldman Sachs ties scare me. Embracing the Establishment really scares me.
Trump, warts and all, is our only chance to win in November. Kasich might have a chance, but if he’s the nominee, you might as well vote Democrat.

“Scarborough in turn scolded the Republican establishment for backing Cruz over John Kasich as the alternative to Donald Trump.”
Scarborough's opposition to Cruz confirms: Cruz is a conservative and a good one. Vote for Cruz.
To: Eccl 10:2
Kasich has no chance He only won the state where he is governor and he only won that with 46% of the vote !

Results in the primaries don’t necessarily indicate how he would do in the general, IMHO. It’s different when your opponents are Cruz and Trump, than when your opponent is Hillary.

And he has shown what a dynamic debater he is. Why, he even got 46% of the vote in Ohio. Imagine his appeal to the conservative base when he tells them to “get over “ religious freedom and his appeal to the moderates and liberals when the democrats run his video of cutting social security and telling the audience to “ get used to it”

Agreed. I forgot about his recent remarks, they were horrible - I’m trying to ignore him. As I said, if he somehow becomes the nominee, he would be little different from the Democrat.

When I see all the liberals opposing Cruz, it just makes Cruz more credible to vote for.

Cruz is the candidate trying to get the nomination by sucking up to party bigwigs. Trump is trying to win the nomination by winning elections with the voters. The only way Cruz gets the nomination is if the central committee of the party gives it to him. Which sounds more like a dictator to you?

He has cruz winning 10 states over a democrat? Pray tell what would they be? My take would be cruz loses all 50.Any Republican can win 10 states. Alaska. Oklahoma. Texas. Louisiana. Mississippi. Alabama. Georgia. North Dakota. South Dakota. Nebraska. That's ten. Kansas is also reliably Republican. Of course you can't win with those states, but you won't suffer a Mondale scale defeat.
