Weeks after his campaign vowed to turn things around in the hunt for delegates, GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is still struggling to ensure that supporters will be there to vote for him at the Republican convention in Cleveland.
Trump is expected to easily win the New York primary on Tuesday and most if not all of the 95 delegates at stake, ensuring that the businessman will remain well ahead of Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

I promise not to laugh.
Trump’s at 756 212 delegates ahead of Cruz right now.

Trumpy can’t find friends in the republican party? Sheesh... who knew liberal rinos, or out and out democrats who voted for Trumpy couldn’t get placed as delegates to the republican convention?
Trump will crush scruz and the GOPe. I am now certain that even they know it!!! Then on to Crooked Hillary!!
MANAFORT
Those are two VERY different things! Dr. Fukino should stick to medicine and not dabble in constitutional law. I don't care if he was born in the Lincoln bedroom! If Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama, Senior (A British subject from Kenya) is Mr. Obama's father, there is no way he is a natural-born citizen!! Native-born, perhaps, but that's not what the constitution calls for.
Good article.
No mystery. The corrupt GOP wants to make sure no one reaches 1237. Then they’ll have a much easier time installing one of their own.
Trump has really done it this time! It’s all over for him now!
I really don't think 2DV is a hypocrite. I think his position on what constitutes an NBC has evolved.
I've asked him about that, but he's never deigned to respond.
I was curious, more than anything else. Thinks like this raise questions, so I ask them.
Don't understand what the big deal is if someone has changed their position on an issue. It seems reasonable that they'd be able to offer a brief explanation.
I don't know, maybe I've missed the explanation. In that case, a link would suffice.
In any event, Ted Cruz has lost. He will have been mathematically eliminated after the next Tuesday or two. His only hope was to get the nomination at a contested GOP convention, which would irreparably splinter the party, and guarantee a GOP defeat in November.
Simply put, that's not going to happen. Not even the crooked GOPe is that stupid.
Vote Trump
And I say that as a Trump supporter who believes he will get to 1237. A more realistic scenario is that Trump gets 200 delegates over next two weeks (not including the 54 from PA that will be unbound).
Here's how I see it for next two weeks:
New York - 95 (of 95)
Connecticut - 25 (of 28)
Delaware = 16 (of 16)
Maryland = 32 (of 38)
Rhode Island = 19 (of 19)
Pennsylvania = 17 (of 17) - remaining 54 will be unbound
That will be 204 delegates bringing Trump to 960.
Make sure you log in tomorrow night. Gonna be a whole lot of laughing at your expense. Also, to remind everyone, you said Obama was ineligible because his father was Kenyan.
He is fighting the GOP machine. That my folks is an uphill battle against those who make the rules. GO TRUMP GO
Soon, you can add another 90 to 95 delegates by the end of tomorrow to Trump's total.
Eventually, someone somewhere has to do something on the ground for Trump.
You don’t get to win the nomination if nobody shows up to do work.
His delegate strategy is simple. Free Trump wine, free Trump water, free Trump magazine subscriptions, free Trump steaks, free tuition at Trump University, free rooms at Trump hotels, free rides on Trump Air, free Chips at Trump Casinos, free greens fees at Trump golf resorts .....
