I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

In the 1980 interview Trump did with Rona Barrett (also shown in the documentary), he said that he thought he was perhaps put on earth to provide jobs for people. He also said that he would be happy to devote his life to this country by running for president, but that he thought it would be a hard life because a good personality is often valued over someone who is right but has unpopular views.

Great stuff Babbitt - when you get a ping list could you add me? Thanks.

>Indeed. I believe he will follow through on what he has said. I don’t trust any other candidate to do so.

Ultimately, he is a biz. man. His word/reputation are on the line. We expect, Lord knows WHY we do (and allow it), politicians to be two-faced and lie to get into office. DT does the same though and, I think, that’ll hurt him in the ‘after’ world.

“Cruz is the best candidate running with regard to the values of free republic.”

~~~~~~
Who the hell do you think you are?, that YOU define the values of FR
Exactly what I was wondering.
Our self-appointed FR values monitor had best ‘monitor’ these threads....
Your reply is great and it shows why Trump has such solid support. He has stated all these things. But for me it sounds too good to be true and I just cant believe Trump is just saying what the frusterated consevatives want to hear but has no intention on carrying it out
Whatever issues I might have with Ted, I know he’s not a political weathervane.
Do you realize Donald Trump has never been a politician before so to make that statement towards him is just NOT true.
It's like some of you have been sucked in to the enemedia's narrative of Trump and even though you know our mainstream media is corrupt, you still let them define the person they hate and do not even think they might be trying to deceive you. The enemedia does it every election so that the crooked DC establishment gets who they want.
That's why I sometimes post, "Behold, the power of the enemedia" and it's true with some folks around here.
“Why do you believe him?”
In The Art of the Deal, Trump offers his Eleven Winning Negotiating Tactics.
Number Nine: Deliver the Goods.
He says you can’t con people. You need to make big promises, but only those you can keep. He is all about keeping his promises.
I don’t know if you caught his unusual speech the other day at the Grand Hyatt, which he renovated. He spent half the speech telling stories about his huge building renovation projects, with lots of blow-by-blow details about the problems he faced, and how he solved them.
Some critics made fun of his choice of subject matter, but my wife and I were spellbound.
Never before have I had as much reason to believe a politician would deliver on campaign promises.
I think he is more a Bloomberg Republican. He will say what he needs to say to get the Republican nomination, then he will do what he is natural at doing. Looking out for Donald.
