I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

Just some of these things would be better than anything the GOP ever accomplished in the last thirty years, including anything they ever did since Cruz was elected to the senate.

Please list his top ten effective accomplishments in this fight.

Please list the top ten things the GOP effectively accomplished since Obama took over the country with special emphasis on the years since Cruz became a senator leading in this fight.
___________________________________________

And this doesn’t include reading “Green Eggs and Ham” on the Senate floor.

Maybe sargon and lonestar can also explain why Cruz (aka: “The only Principled Conservative”) did the following:

1) Supported an increase of H1B Visas

2) Voted for the disastrous Iran Corker Bill

3) Worked with Paul Ryan to pass TPA (Think TPP)

4) Went to the southern border with Glenn Beck to pass out Teddy Bears and soccer balls to illegals

5) Acting like a lying sleaze ball in Iowa (e.g. lying about Carson leaving the primary, and sending out those blackmailing mailers to voters

((Crickets))

Somebody had a paragraph about a junior senator who started running for President - I forgot to save it.

Maybe I can help you with this.

Never held a private sector job, graduated from Harvard, constitutional scholar, lawyer, junior senator, foreign born, hides his real name, hid his nationality during his senate run, repeatedly failed to vote as senator, and immediately began seeking the office of president once elected. He is also the anointed one.

Eduardo Rafael Cruz - OBAMA PART DEUX

If you are a globalist, you are not a conservative. Conservatism begins with America first.

Is this what you were looking for?

Trump has said all of these things... you might be more comfortable with Trump if you would listen to what he’s saying... and not just to what others are saying about him.

Most of the immigration items are simply enforcing existing laws.

With a big enough mandate he can endorse Congress persons that share his veiws.

I hear what you're saying. I give credit to Ben Carson, a fine man, a good man, for believing unity is better than division and "endorsing" Trump. I like and respect Mr. Carson. I, in the beginning thought he'd be a fine nominee, and would be thrilled to be able to call him a friend. I supported Cruz, up until I started to see little things that disturbed me. After researching, I held fast, hoping they were just blips on the screen. The Chicago fiasco was my last straw. I expected him to unequivocally condemn the riots and attacks. He did not and used it for politically expedient purposes.

Having been here over 15 years, I've seen "movements" come and go. Factions and splits are par for the course. Some came here thinking they were conservative, only to realize they weren't. Some left willingly and some were shown the door. There have been Bush worshipers, Rove worshipers, McCain worshipers and more. Worship of any man or woman is ridiculous. None are to be worshiped but the Creator. Never before have I had my candidate lose and decide to stay home. I have held my nose and voted for the nominee. To give the election to a dhimmi, by default, is unacceptable to me.

You can criticize the lack of stellar conservative convictions of any candidate you wish. It is, after all, opinion. Trump is no saint, nor perfect, nor infallible or the incarnation of Goldwater or Reagan. IMO, in this current climate and crowd and time in history, he's the best suited and able to win. His feet will be held to the fire, in multiple ways. If he screws the pooch, he'll rue the day he ever thought of seeking the nom.

“Cruz has always been at the front of the line to fight for us”

fight for us?

my understanding is he wanted 500% increase H1B visas until just a few months ago!

He helped move some bills forward for vote that were not good for the country - even if he did in the end vote against them.

just 2 examples of his “fighting for us” i guess?

I live in Florida, have lived near Palm Beach for years. We’re talking about the winter, we’re talking about Palm Beach. We’re talking about a high class resort Club, one of the finest.

It’s ridiculous to think you can’t find Americans to fill maid positions 6-8 months of the year. Like I said, ever try advertising in Minnesota, Alaska or the Dakoda’s.

“Looking for maids to work in exclusive Trump Resort Club in Palm Beach Florida from October-May, room and board provided, minimum wage.”

And yes he may pay them minimum wage, but they are conscripted labor, can’t work anywhere else, so the hours are much longer than 8. They are basically on call 24X7. It’s cheap labor, that’s why he is doing it.

He hires them because of cheap labor. The same thing he criticizes other people for doing. He has products built overseas for the same reason. It’s to make more money. Nothing fundamentally wrong about it, but let’s not pretend it’s for any other reason. And let’s not pretend he cares about American workers being screwed by foreign labor, when he’s a leader in the field.

THIS SITE is PRIVATE PROPERTY. YOU have no natural right to post here. This place belongs to Jim Robinson. You are REALLY stupid. It always amazes me how people apply constitutional rights to PRIVATE PROPERTY. *I decide who enters my home and if I don't like what they say I kick their asses out.

THIS is like JR's home. HE decides who enters, he decides who leaves. YOU have no "right" to be here or say anything. The OWNER of this PROPERTY possesses the right to do with his property what he wishes.

Having served only three years in the Senate should not give anyone confidence. Look at the last junior senator that was elected.

Lets look at the example you posted, prior to Obama becoming a Senator he was nothing more than a sleazy hollow street organizer hustler. As just one example before Cruz became a Senator he was the Director of Planning at the Federal Trade Commission,Associate Deputy Attorney General at the United States Department of Justice,Solicitor General of Texas and also an adjunct Professor teaching US Supreme Court Litigation so i would really have to say it’s way out in left field to remotely compare Cruz in any manner imaginable.

Why do you believe anything he says. They are just words. He has never worked toward those goals before running for President and has supported liberal Democrats with large sums of money who have been working in directly the opposite direction. Why do you believe him?

Because if he weren't basically honest he would not be successful. Think about it. He's been involved in huge deals involving LEGAL contracts in real estate (and many other areas) for decades. Dishonesty is grounds for lawsuits and jail time. His deals have to be scrupulously legal or they would never go through. If he were to promise and promise and promise one thing and then deliver a contract that said the exact opposite NOBODY would trust him or broker a deal with him after a while. It's against his nature to not deliver what is promised.

Besides that are you WILLING to trust politicians MORE then a businessman when it comes to broken promises? Politicians breaking promises is such a truism that we don't even really consider it a joke anymore. We BELIEVE politicians are going to screw us over. That's exactly why Trump is having the success he's been having.

Absolutely. Trump is a doer who actually accomplishes things. Builds things. Creates jobs. Signs checks on his own accounts. A top executive. Adds to the economy. A successful capitalist. A successful leader.
