The end is a lot closer for Cruz than we thought
Red State Watcher ^ | 4/16/2016

In ten days, April 26th, if calculations are correct, it will be mathematically impossible for Cruz to win.

thegatewaypundit.com reports: As we noted on the 2nd, “Even if Cruz wins a third of the delegates in Rhode Island or Connecticut or any of these states, it will not be enough to keep him mathematically in the race.”

Now it looks like Cruz will not only be mathematically eliminated from obtaining enough delegates to win the election outright by April 26th, he may also have fallen to third place in the polls by the end of April, too.

Based on current conservative estimates, come April 26th, Cruz will need 657 delegates to win the election but only 585 will be left leaving him mathematically out of the race.

Trump will only need 279 delegates or less than 50% of the delegates remaining to win the nomination.

And according to our conservative estimates – Trump should gain 1237 delegates by June 7th making him the Republican nominee.

He’s not going for a primary win, he’s going for a convention win. He won’t get that either.

His repeating this pattern of behavior indicates a psychosis which can colloquially be described as “having a screw loose”.

I agree, it's not like she used chalk.

Some chicks like talcum powder.

Some use "Shower to Shower".

I wouldn't rule out chalk.

Considering that Texas gave us LBJ and GWB, 2 of the worst presidents in history... they don’t have a lot to be proud of.

Do you really believe the Republican party will let Ted Cruz become their candidate? See my tagline.

>I think Ted would have done much better if he and his PACs had taken the high road.

I agree, I really liked the guy before Iowa.

You’re probably right, but the high road was ruled out the moment Cruz hired Mr Dirty Tricks himself, Jeff Roe.

And he (Ted) had to know where that would go.

Okay, I have seen you post this graph on several threads.

Color me skeptical, but I do not believe that a nosediving plane is a typical feature of graphs.

:)

Please go on. Tell us one conservative bill that Cruz has led to passage
in the Senate. Not a resolution, but a bill?

Please tell us.

Given the nature of the revealed Republican delegate process, the graphic is totally irrelevant

Here you go:

I think I answered this before but I know Trump supporters can be stubborn about facts

http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/202883-senate-passes-bill-to-deny-iranian-ambassadors-visa

This bill banned iranian diplomate involved in terrorism

http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/202883-senate-passes-bill-to-deny-iranian-ambassadors-visa

The Senate passed the bill through a unanimous consent agreement.

“I thought it was totally inappropriate that Mr. Abutalebi was nominated in the first place,” Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said. “It may be a case of strange bedfellows, but I’m glad Sen. Cruz and I were able to work out a bill that would prevent this terrorist from stepping foot on American soil. We ought to close the door on him, and others like him, before he even comes to the United States, and that’s exactly what this bill will do.”

It’s easy for trump to not make 1237

I suppose he could take a walk in Ft. Marcy Park but other than that, don't think so.

I would remind Trump supports that the rules do not give the nomination to the person who has the most delegates on the first ballot but to the person who first reaches 1237.

Of course that's a big FU to all the people who voted for Trump, and those who voted for others but now support him, close to half, maybe over half by then. But if the GOP cared about what voters want they wouldn't have Trump to worry about now.

When was the last time the frontrunner didn't get the nomination? Over 60 years ago. It ain't the 50s anymore, and whoever the pubs come up with sure wouldn't be no Ike.

And Ted the petulant child will stay in the race because he can’t stand the thought that he lost. He hopes for a contested convention. I have no clue as to why because he still won’t be the candidate

That is a silly statement, right out of the Alinsky playbook.

Your post that I replied to says exactly what Dims have said when they criticize Cruz. You cannot logically of factually dispute that.

You talk like a Dim. That is a fact.

If you were to speak the truth, you would admit that you do not know any Soviet citizens.

Cruz has been in the senate for more than 2 years and the only thing
he has led to passage is banning 1 Iranian diplomat?

For one thing, banning an Iranian diplomat is not a conservative bill.
You should study up a little more.

God bless him for his Supreme Court victories. Maybe he should do
more of that.

As far as shutting down the Gov. How did the nation benefit from that,
besides making some Cruz supporters happy?
What tangible benefit came from that?

We have tried it your way for 30 years. It is not working.
Time for something different.
