I would remind Trump supports that the rules do not give the nomination to the person who has the most delegates on the first ballot but to the person who first reaches 1237.

Of course that's a big FU to all the people who voted for Trump, and those who voted for others but now support him, close to half, maybe over half by then. But if the GOP cared about what voters want they wouldn't have Trump to worry about now.

When was the last time the frontrunner didn't get the nomination? Over 60 years ago. It ain't the 50s anymore, and whoever the pubs come up with sure wouldn't be no Ike.

In every case, the Republicans have nominated the candidate who won the majority of the delegates. Not once have the Republicans given the nomination to someone who almost won the majority of the delegates.
