Obamacare's financial stability remains in question as insurance companies warn that the health exchange marketplaces are on the verge of collapse.
A shortage of healthy young people signing up for Obamacare in the marketplaces is driving the cost of subsidizing sicker people through the roof for insurance companies, The Hill reports. Insurers are losing money, and some are suggesting that they will cut their losses and pull out of the marketplace altogether.

It was all designed to fail. No one thought for a minute that you could force insurance companies to cover people with diagnosed diseases and they could stay solvent. What Obama wants is a single payer system with the federal government dictating who will get what treatment and when. In other words socialized medicine.

Car insurance would be unsustainable too if you didn’t have to buy it until after the wreck.

This is the planned failure that is supposed to lead to government controlled “single payer” plans. And government control over who gets care. How you vote will determine how you die.

I think a lot of us have being saying that. It was NEVER about health insurance.
It is about health CARE.

ObamaCare was never meant to be sustainable, the point was to pave the way for Single-Payer.

That’s why the folks who voted for it, never bothered to read it, it doesn’t matter, since it was just a means to the ultimate end.

“No one thought for a minute that you could force insurance companies to cover people with diagnosed diseases and they could stay solvent.”
Didn’t seem to be any big problem in my state for the previous 8 years. In fact, more medical insurance companies came in. There was a nine month waiting period for pre-existing conditions but beyond that very few exclusions. Now Kaiser is coming in and buying a big co-op (Group Health of Washington).

A failure to raise health insurance premiums could create a death spiral in which the cost of these health insurance plans on insurance companies is too greatleading to increased premiums that people cannot afford while other companies pull out of the marketplace, causing the health insurance market to collapse.
Yikes! Whoever wrote that should be shot.
The death spiral is caused by forcing companies to insure people with expensive, diagnosed disease like AIDS, compelling companies to raise premiums on everyone. Healthy people drop out and the death spiral commences.
