Pay inequality.
Bernie and Hillary will get personally involved in this one.

They should stay in jail until they decide to cut her a cashable cheque for the amount of time she worked without pay.

This is a private matter between Muslims, the government and law enforcement needs to step back and leave them alone.

Islam is a dead end limb on the tree of humanity.
It was born blighted and diseased and is rotted to the core.
We can already see how the disease is spreading and destroying civilization wherever it takes hold.
The only hope for the rest of humanity is to excise the diseased limb and destroy it until the spore no longer exists.

Less the income taxes, of course; there isn’t a single American in this story (and I’d guess all involved are Muslims), so who cares?

I understand that slavery is more common around the world than it was in Antebellum days.

Maybe the boss was having sex with her, in which case, he only need to pay her family 2 goats and she is his lawful wife.

A little more than a year ago I helped a Filipino woman out of nearly identical circumstances. I was able to bluff the muslims holding her into giving her (most) of her back wages, and the return of her passport. Then she made a run for it, and is now alive and free still living in the US while her immigration status wanders through the system.

Aside from the “involuntary servitude” provision in the Constitution, is there any law of any kind in the US prohibiting slavery, carrying a penalty?

The Iraqis in that area of San Diego are predominently Coptic Christians.
Don't let that christian thing fool you though, they still adhere to the ways of the middle east where women are possessions and treated as subhuman.
