Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz got the cold shoulder from a room of 800 Republicans at the New York City GOP gala Thursday night, receiving little interaction from the audience as he went through his usual stump speech.
Cruz, who followed speeches from rivals Donald Trump and John Kasich, began by making a joke at Trump’s expense that fell flat. “I haven’t built any buildings in New York City, but I have spent my entire life fighting to defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights,” the Texas senator said, taking a shot at the GOP front-runner who, just moments before, spent the majority of his speech talking about his New York real estate successes.
Media at the scene reported guests walking around and talking during Cruz’s address.

The ONLY thing missing in that photo is the Limbo stick that Teddy looks like he's gettin' ready to climb under.If he bent back any farther he would have feel on his back. A chiropractic visit was probably on his schedule after n his little "debate".

That picture of those guys confronting Cruz reminded me of the video above where Cruz takes the time to discuss removing ethanol subsidies when he is confronted by an angry farmer.
Not a short quip by any means - but he sure does engage the farmer and in the end the farmer finds more to agree with than argue.
I watched most of it. Cruz lost his audience as he went on. When the problems with the mikes started, you could hear people in the audience talking.
Trump is the only Republican, who can win the fall

Trump even trumps cRuz in Texas, with warm receptions....
In contrast, Trump reminisced about old times and old friends, and told some interesting stories that the crowd seemingly enjoyed.
I'm not a political power player, but I've heard all the stump speeches, but I had never heard Trump's stories until tonight.
It was the right move for this audience.
And, cRuz is a wreck we Texans are watching, now.

I completely stopped watching after Meagan ambushed Trump at the first debate.
Have completely turned them out. Fox Business is ok, but the Fox network, is basically sold out this time around.

why in the heck do you just want Cruz to get out if he is tanking??? WHY?? Methinks you are afraid of him. I don’t know how any of us could have heard anything at the time Cruz was trying to speak It appears something happened to the sound which came back immediately after cruz finished. Shall we call it Trump mischief. Trump spent a lot of time talking about New Yorkers values not social values but firemen and policemen talked about this thru most of his speech when he wasn’t bragging about himself.
He (Trump) seems to know exactly what to say to each audience doesn’t he? I remember the speech to mostly college students that became a speech on how to succeed in life instead of a political speech. Perfect for them.
I am afraid Cruz is going to hand this coming election to the GOPe, which in my opinion is completely sold out America to globalists.
Cruz won’t win.
But he might get in the way of Trump, which would be a disaster.
This needs to be repeated.
