A Florida prosecutor has decided not to prosecute Donald Trump’s campaign manager for battery after a March run-in with former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, sources with knowledge of the situation told POLITICO.
The decision not to press charges against Corey Lewandowski is scheduled to be announced on Thursday afternoon by Palm Beach County State Attorney David Aronberg.
Fields may still pursue a defamation case against Lewandowski, a source said.
Fields filed a police report last month after Lewandowski grabbed her by the arm and moved her out of Trump’s way following a press conference at Trump National Gold Club in Jupiter. She said he left bruises on her arm. Police later charged Lewandowski with simple battery, releasing video from surveillance cameras that shows Lewandowski reaching for and grabbing Fields.
Aronberg would not comment, but in a POLITICO interview last week, he pointed out that Jupiter police had a low “probable cause” standard to cite Lewandowski for battery. But the responsibility for moving forward with a full-blown prosecution rested with Aronberg’s office, which had to consider whether a crime occurred and whether they believed a jury of Floridians would prosecute.
“We have a higher standard to go forward with a prosecution,” he said.

lol. Should have asked you though. The appearance notice. It’s obviously not an information charging but that he may be charged with X, right? Secondly, would the processing have occurred after the paper charge was laid? Pro bono please.
And the worst part for the cops is they have to listen to these people, many of which do nothing but lie, embellish their version of the event and flat out BS them, and on and on.
After interviewing their first 300 people on the job, most cops learn real quick about the ugly side of human behavior.

Those are procedural processes re: that District. Used for minor matters.
Not sure how it works in that District, but am generally sure he was not charged, arrested, etc.
The City PD did it’s job, (and covered its butt) and the SA apparently kicked it.

There's not even any contest when it comes to character assassination. Donald Trump has been subjected to nothing but demonization by the Left/Media/GOPe, and "me too" Cruz campaign, and you want to compare what Trump has been subjected to, to the comparative snowflake treatment the Media gives Ted Cruz?

The deranged Katie Pavlich has been hitting all the talk shows saying Fields was robbed and the prosecutor has his head up his ass. Pavlich is one more winch. A good looking winch, but nevertheless a winch. Her obsession with Cruz and abnormal hatred of Trump is not healthy. Maybe Trump should get a restraining order against her, Fields and the crazy unhinged Dana Loesch.
Oh but then you have ONE who posted on this thread stating he wasn’t an anomaly from Ted’s camp stating he thought the charge was not legit. Where are the others? This is a bit like all those good Muslims we’re told about when the Jihad succeeds in destroying more lives.
