The Trump campaign said Wednesday that Rick Wiley who has more than two decades of experience in state and national politics and most recently served as campaign manager for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walkers presidential bid is joining the operation as national political director.
Rick is a seasoned political expert with a very successful career in winning elections, Trump said in a news release. He brings decades of experience, and his deep ties to political leaders and activists across the country will be a tremendous asset as we enter the final phase of securing the nomination.
Wiley said in the same release, Voters are frustrated with the political status quo in our country and are hungry for an outsider to shake up Washington. Donald Trump has energized millions of hard working people across the country with his no-nonsense straight talk and will bring his record of success to tackle the real problems that face our nation.
National political director sounds like a big job. I’m wary because Wiley ran Walker’s campaign which may have been the worst of the 17.
This is exactly why I am for Trump.
I’ve never sent money to a politician and I doubt I ever will.
Beg to differ.......Trump and Manafort aren’t talking b/c that’s the way pros play the game.
Trump is fit and fine, hell-bent on victory.....ready to cross the Rubicon into Cleveland.
And btw, even the might Caesar hesitated a bit when he approached the edge of the Rubicon.
[Ive never sent money to a politician and I doubt I ever will.]
That’s nice, but Trump is not a politician.
That would send the biggest scariest message yet to the GOPe.
Everyone send Trump $20 and watch the media try to explain that, lol.
Because Walker’s campaign went so well?
Trump doesn’t want clones - he wants people with varied experience and strengths. That kind of strategic thinking is why he built a 10B company during his lifetime and now signs 22K paychecks on the front.
Watch the family town hall linked in post 9. No other candidate in the last few decades could pull that off. Trump is in a different league - so many level above and so many steps ahead of what we’ve grown used to.
This guy isn’t the guy in charge. He’s part of a team. Read post 28.
You are in luck! Trump is not (yet) a politician!
Yes! if everyone who voted for him donated $10 It would be more than he’s spent so far. He’s personally committed to $100 million. Donald Jr. confirmed that. But he’s proved himself now and we should stand behind him.
Heck, he doesn’t have to hire Rick Wiley to know what went wrong in WI. It’s called who counts the votes - aka Diebold machines.
It was a first for me. But there’s never been someone like Trump since Reagan.
Mr. Trump is getting outflanked by Cruz. He lost IA and WI because he had no ground game. Trump never even visited CO and NE. He got snookered in LA. All because Trump is a rookie and thinks he can get elected on his cult of personality.
The GOP primary process isn’t a luxury jet, Twitter account, and Trump Steaks. It takes a strategy, a team, and a leader.
Trump needs to stop whining, hire some veteran politicos, and start running a real POTUS campaign.
Otherwise Hillary gets 3 SCOTUS nominations.
Rules are rules. Let’s look at the rules. This colorado rape has pissed people off like nothing I have ever witnessed. I have seen Cruz people change to Trump over this gestapo power grab by the GOPe who has the audacity to claim the victory on its twitter account!! Cruz is a pathetic puppet for the Gope. They would spit him out like a lemon seed. It scares people to think this could happen in America!!
Trump just announced hiring another heavy hitter, Rick Wiley, for his Campaign Staff but still no mention of the HUGE @RealJPMoore hire!— Bill Mitchell (REAL) (@mitchellvii) April 13, 2016
Douche and Doucher...
Just stay away from Ed Rollins.
He joined Bachmann’s campaign a few years ago as a Trojan horse stealth eGOPer to sideline her.
He is republican GOPe all the way.
Plus he hates Sarah Palin.
