Radio host Glenn Beck told his audience last month that Ted Cruz was “anointed for this time.”
Beck also brought a fasting child on stage in Utah and declared, “This is the priesthood rising.”
On his television program last week, Beck told his studio audience that he sent an encouraging note to Ted Cruz a couple weeks back because nobody knows what it is like to carry the Moses-like burden that Cruz bears. Transcript via RWW:
“Imagine being in a position to where you believe it, you believe the country is at the end, you believe that God is telling you, ‘Step up to the plate.’ You believe that you, just like Moses, may be slow in speech and not the perfect guy, but you know if you get in there, you can actually do something and you’ve tried to stay loyal. Do you know what that life is like for two years of tearing yourself apart, of ‘please Lord, just tell me, just tell me, just tell me, I’ll do it, just tell me.’ And the burden of I blew it? Oh my gosh, I don’t want to be them.”

Glenn Beck is a psycho ruled by whichever of the five voices in his head is in control that day. Cruz is a deluded Dominionist who’s father has likely been telling him he’s the 7th King since he was born.
You got that right. But you really should go on Twitter and follow people just to get a sense of what kind of lunacy is going on.

I checked into the Seven Mountains. Their PR material categorically rejects dominionism and claims that the mountains are merely spheres of influence within our culture: business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family and religion.
At first glance, the negative associations of Seven Mountains with Dominionism seem to come from the leftist media: The Atlantic, Salon, Huffington Post, The Daily Kos, etc. That makes me skeptical of their claims.
Upon further research - reading actual articles, speeches, etc. written by the movement’s leaders - I find myself suspicious. I have more data to consider before I make a conclusion.

Did I say God told me this? I’ve never heard the voice of God. I’m not Beck or Cruz. I said I “expect” it to happen. And, by the way, I hope it doesn’t but if it does I hope it ends without bloodshed.
