After making tepidly positive remarks about former GOP presidential rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) set the record straight on Wednesday: It wasn't an endorsement.
"I'm not endorsing in this race right now. I don't have any announcement to make, I was just answering the question," Rubio told reporters.
Rubio was referring to a Tuesday interview with conservative radio host Mark Levin where he said he wants a conservative in the White House and Cruz is the only candidate left standing that fits his criteria.

Marco Rubio is not a Conservative either.
Well. he didn’t say “I am endorsing Ted Cruz”. So those of us who are capable of rubbing 2 brain cells together already knew that.
Foam Boy joins the House of Waffles
We can see why he lost.
Wishy washy as always.
I can only hope what few brain cells Rubio has left that they will tell him to stay away, very far away from Cruz and his sexual, lies, slimy, slithering ways...
I think Rubio is still hoping to be the “white knight” (or would that be Hispanic knight?) at a brokered convention now that Paul Ryan has all but said he’d jump off a building rather than accept the nod.
Actually Rubio is a reliable conservative and against the grain of the insider crowd. if only he’d wake up about the need to stop and reverse the invasion of the US.
having lived in Fla. for my entire adult life and most of my youth I’ve seen my share of local and state politicians. At one time I had very high hopes for this young man, but he has successfully and completely disappointed me.
Oh boy, Mark Levin, aka Carnival Barker, aka Loudmouth, aka Cruz spokes idiot won’t be happy. He’s out there saying that Rubio endorsed Cruz.
At least he came to his senses!!!
Nope. Well according to Rush he is. However, you have to ask yourself this though;
Is conservatism merely a mirage in DC?
To me conservatism always meant the ability to interpret Morality and Decency.
Words does give conservatism it’s justice, no no no what does is how we practice our interpretations.
Marco always has troubles with decisions...Trump or Cruz, boys or girls, legals or illegals, Gang of 8 or constituents, Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan...it’s just so hard to decide.
I get the same vibe from you.
They seem to cling to any lie to get through the day.
As somebody said, it appears Rubio is hedging his bets on a brokered convention.
Which is the last refuge of hope for some around here. Incredible as it may seem.
sigh
Rubio slips in the real truth from the establishment.
Rubio refuses to conserve the rule of law and the country.
Doesn’t get much less conservative than that.
“Is conservatism merely a mirage in DC?”
More an empty platitude to be rolled out constantly in election years.
lol
