I think he may be a bit more complicated.

I think he gets some influence from his brother who is a Cruz bot and some from Mark Levin. But on the whole I think jealousy is what is driving his hatred of Trump.

He knows that Trump is not able to answer a lot of the gotcha questions thrown at him by the drivebys ,questions that Rush could take on easily.Has to make him crazy.

However Rush didn't run. Trump did.Makes all the difference.

I don’t discount what you say, but I still go back to the fact that this man has nothing in common with what affects me and how I think. He hasn’t for a long, long time.

My honest belief is that Rush will continue to make money even in the loss of Ted to Hillary. Four or eight years more of supposed opposition. More revenue from ads and syndication. He really, really doesn’t care what you or I think. It’s money, money, money to him.

Rush may be jealous of Trump billions or the fact that Trump entered into the fray based on something other than money. That’s only for Rush to fathom. I only know that in my book, Rush comes out on the short end of the honesty and believability stick for me in all this.

I used to want Rush to run. Someone independent from the party, and the Chamber, and who had lots of money. But it has become clear that he was wise not to run. He could never have withstood what Trump has endured. He would have ruined his brand, as he almost did with the oxy. And he didn't have enough money as Trump has proven.

If Trump can't overcome the GOPe, it can't be done, and a third party will be the only way.
