NORTH KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - Trust and business are two things a KCK man claims Harrah’s Casino lost after he says a valet handed over the keys to his $70,000 car to the wrong man.

John Lopez was watching his brother, Dominique Garcia, fight inside the North Kansas City casino while he says the keys to his Audi A7 were handed over to a man claiming to be his son-in-law early Saturday morning.

“I was extremely upset,” said Lopez. “I don’t understand how it can happen.”

Lopez’s grey Audi isn’t a stock vehicle. He’s spent years customizing and fine tuning the paint, wheels, windows and lights.

“Being without my car sucks, all the custom work I’ve done to my car,” said Lopez. “It sucks if I have to buy a new car if my car doesn’t come back in good shape.”

He’s spent years fine tuning and customizing his vehicle. I wish I had those kind of problems.

Not your usual quick export south of the border, they favor trucks and SUV’s. Maybe it was just a joyride and he’ll get it back with only a blown engine.

As I commented earlier today, I’m always amazed when I go to the gas station and there are people driving $50,000-$60,000 SUV’s, getting 7-9 mpg (gas was higher last year) and they have $2,000 to $4,000 worth of wheels and tires on them.

Meanwhile, when I have money, which is rare these days, I’m grabbing ever sale I can. Like potato chips for less than $2 and $1.50 package of hot dog buns (4 10 packs of hot dogs were for $5, on sale this week).

$70k for an Audi?? He deserves to be ripped off, he is too stupid with his money. Other cars in that price range that are probably far closer in worth to the asking price.

If you read on in the article, apparently another car was stolen, or reported stolen, from the same place, the day before.

Shhh! Hope nobody finds out the Honda holds resale value better and is more reliable. Come back in ten years and see which is worth more..................

Costco has a deal going with Chevy on a Limited Model 2016 1500 Silverado with a special equipment Package.

I saw it when I went shopping. Looks nice with all the goodies. Black and Chrome with Leather Interior.

I walk up and look at the Window Sticker, $58,000. I think you can get Supplier Pricing, but how much can it save you?

Tax and License will set you back almost $6,000 here in CA.

Too rich for my blood. It’s a Pickup Truck, not a Corvette.

Drug money spends easy. You see it in Las Vegas every weekend.

That’s what I think; I believe I’m seeing some dealers. You see some of these guys walk into the gas station. Many of them look like they couldn’t follow directions to bake a cake.

Cook some meth maybe. But not a cake.

When they made that cool little custom pickup, I liked it.

Until I saw the price. Shoot, I’d rather have the Corvette.

The only one I can afford these days is 94 cents at WalMart.
