Sen. Ted Cruz claims that Roger Stone, The Daily Caller Mens Fashion editor, decides what Matt Drudge posts on his website Drudge Report.
In an interview with Mike Slater on The Mike Slater Show Monday, Cruz said, If people want to get on the Trump train, they can. I actually think we need real and meaningful solutions to the problems in this country, and as president my focus is going to be on three things: jobs, freedom and security.
Slater asked Cruz what he thought of the Drudge Report and the Texas senator replied, Look, Drudge Report over the years has done a good job highlighting the excesses of the left and the excesses of liberalism, and about the past month the Drudge Report has basically become the attack site for the Donald Trump campaign.
And so every day they have the latest Trump attack. Theyre directed at me. It by all appearances, Roger Stone now decides whats on Drudge, and most days they have a six-month-old article that is some attack on me, and its whatever the Trump campaign is pushing that day will be the banner headline on Drudge.
By the way, they no longer cover news. Remember they used to have things like election results? They dont put those on Drudge anymore. When we win a state, suddenly the state doesnt matter. You know Colorado there was no red siren on Drudge when we won all 34 delegates in Colorado. That wasnt news, because I mean listen, thats fine, Cruz said.
Later Cruz said, My number one priority is bringing jobs back to America, raising wages for everyone, making it easier for people struggling to achieve the American Dream. Thats my focus. And Im going to let others worry about the silly political game and the circus.
LISTEN (begins at 15:16):
Quote:
“Won? I guess it all depends on the definition. “ It’s what that fat-assed GOPe hack Limbaugh called it.
So Whinny Ted bashed Trump for Whining............and then Ted Whines Ted even tweet about Donald #WhiningisntWining Well Ted eat your own words!
Cruz is no longer disliked. He is despised. REMEMBER COLORADO!!!
Ted can quote Stalin
[By the way, they no longer cover news. Remember they used to have things like election results? They dont put those on Drudge anymore.” ...... Cruz said.]
Nonsense. I’ve gotten all the caucus results from Drudge.
Cruz will never be the nominee. Never. He knows it too. If Trump doesnt win enough votes on the first ballot there will be a fix second ballot then on the third ballot expect either Kasich, Romney, or Ryan. At that point the Trump supporters will really be PO’d but the Cruz people will finally wake up. They have been had. Cruz will go back to the senate badly beat up, his former supporters will never forgive him and his career is toast.
Drudge posts election results when there is an actual election.
Has Cruz been complaining about NRO, Townhall or Red State? I’ll have to check with the internets
Yeah, Ted, any time there’s a negative story, whether it’s on Drudge or Twitter, it’s Roger Stone. You have Trump living in your head 24/7.
I haven’t been to drudge in months. Knew he was in the tank, he and Annie I guess are still buddies. The night Trump missed the debate the question on drudge was who would you vote for, not who won the debate.
Don’t go to Trumpbart anymore either.
Trump’s definition of establishment is any voter who does not vote for him. Trump’s definition of cheaters are any state he does not win.
And how would the coverage change from the current Rah-Rah-Dee-Trump-Dee-Ay?
ouch

Matt Drudge is with the pulse of THE PEOPLE.
I noticed that Drudge didnt post a thing about the NE/Cruz affair too.
Cruz may soon regret badmouthing Matt Drudge - I’m sure Drudge may have some information on Cruz that will make the NE stuff look tame in comparison, but is siting on the info for whatever reason.
I get the feeling that Colorado doesn’t have the significance for Cruz that it does for an electorate sick and tired of these cutesy little gimmicky b.s. GOPe stunts.
It’s not the government’s responsibility to create jobs. What the government should do is create a business friendly atmosphere by reducing regulation and taxes.
Where Trump takes it farther, to his credit, is to make sure trade deals benefit American business.
