Sen. Ted Cruz claims that Roger Stone, The Daily Caller Mens Fashion editor, decides what Matt Drudge posts on his website Drudge Report.
In an interview with Mike Slater on The Mike Slater Show Monday, Cruz said, If people want to get on the Trump train, they can. I actually think we need real and meaningful solutions to the problems in this country, and as president my focus is going to be on three things: jobs, freedom and security.
Slater asked Cruz what he thought of the Drudge Report and the Texas senator replied, Look, Drudge Report over the years has done a good job highlighting the excesses of the left and the excesses of liberalism, and about the past month the Drudge Report has basically become the attack site for the Donald Trump campaign.
And so every day they have the latest Trump attack. Theyre directed at me. It by all appearances, Roger Stone now decides whats on Drudge, and most days they have a six-month-old article that is some attack on me, and its whatever the Trump campaign is pushing that day will be the banner headline on Drudge.
By the way, they no longer cover news. Remember they used to have things like election results? They dont put those on Drudge anymore. When we win a state, suddenly the state doesnt matter. You know Colorado there was no red siren on Drudge when we won all 34 delegates in Colorado. That wasnt news, because I mean listen, thats fine, Cruz said.
Later Cruz said, My number one priority is bringing jobs back to America, raising wages for everyone, making it easier for people struggling to achieve the American Dream. Thats my focus. And Im going to let others worry about the silly political game and the circus.
LISTEN (begins at 15:16):
And the Cruz campaign just released a campaign video 2 days ago depicting millions of Americans as Nazis, and Trump as Hitler.
So now Drudge is a Jew hater? I heard them alledge Phyllis Schlafly was demented because she's elderly and endorsed Trump.
Hmmm. This seems to be a pattern.
....”Cruz nailed it. How can Drudge claim to be a news site when theyre posting links to 8-month old articles as their top news of the day?.....Cruz nailed it. How can Drudge claim to be a news site when theyre posting links to 8-month old articles as their top news of the day?”.....
I also agree with Cruz and noted Drudge jumped on the Trump train awhile back....along with Breitbart. But as we’ve seen in other elections, as the field narrows the media giants and websites do tend to favor one or the other of the candidates even though they often claim otherwise if MAIN Stream.
I think some of spoke awhile back that the news wasn’t reporting Cruz wins as victory’s ...rather in light of how Trump would respond or what drama he was playing that day. And also noted if the news deviated for long from Trump he’d do or say something outlandish to drive the media back on himself.....which of course is Trumps standard when he seeks attention....but part of his campaign strategy in this election.
Unfortunately for Trump though...is while he was doing his “deals” with the media Cruz was steady and quietly working his ground game for the delegates in the delegate portion of the race which Trump chose to ignore. It’s biting Trump in the rear now while he and his supporters whine...”Its unfair!”
“Remember they used to have things like election results? They dont put those on Drudge anymore. “
I seem to remember seeing primary results on Drudge, and a huge banner about CO and nobody voting.
i have mentioned vote totals today? You sure about that?
Meanwhile, at CRUZSTAPO HEADQUARTERS, Cruzers are holding an important meeting. They are collaborating with the GAYSTAPO in an attempt to find another way to stick it to Trump.
Birds of a feather flock together!
.....”I would like to know why all the Cruz people are not more concerned about Cruz’s involvement with Neil Bush, Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Scott Walker, Glenn Beck, Paul Ryan, and other assorted GOPe insiders.”.....
Because of course this is the time, or should say really past time, when the Republican candidates do make a strong effort to unite the party....of course Trump has major issues with understanding he’s got to work at that to win. Cruz welcomes them because in the general any candidate will need the Republican vote to win..and that includes the Republican Party which both Cruz and Trump are running under.
Now if Trump didn’t want to do that then he should have formed his own Party and not run as a Republican Candidate. He chose not to and instead claimed he was now Conservative and a Republican.
It’s really not complicated.....it’s a Presidential race and they’re both in it to win.
I would like to know why Cruzers call Cruz a conservative when he voted for the patriot act, pushed TPP, TSA, voted for the Corker bill, Stops us from policing currency manipulation with trade partners, sided with BLM against cops and helped Bush draft NAFTA.
A Globalist is not a conservative. Cruz is a Globalist. Therefore he cannot be a conservative.
This about the first post of your's I have read that isn't.
... you have been promoted to being a Trump bully... way to go buddy!

That wasn’t a lie. Drudge does leave out the election results of states Cruz wins. I’ve seen him do it twice. After the bias got so completely ridiculous, I have stopped visiting his site. I haven’t looked recently so I don’t know if the CO results were posted or not.
It is true what he says. Anyone with a brain can see that. I’m not saying it’s wrong. And it really doesn’t hurt too much either. Think about it...Bill Clinton was re-elected while Drudge had daily bad news about him. Obama was elected as well.
Drudge posts things that get clicks. Trump crying bloody murder gets clicks.
I would prefer you said “stomping” instead of “stumping” but hey, that is just me.
I think you have that backwards. Trump is the one crying about Cruz winning too much.
When was the last time Trump won? I know I’m already getting tired of Cruz winning so much lately—I hope Trump win one soon so he can stop crying about losing.
