By the third ballot Curz will realize that he is the eunuch at the GOP orgy.

It makes sense.

Every four years a new slate of delegates is elected.
Why should they have to operate under the rules set up by the delegates from four years ago?
The current delegates are the ones chosen to make decisions for this particular election, not the ones from four years ago.

Nor should the current delegates make up rules for the delegates to be chosen four years from now.

Trump will have more than 1237 by time the convention rolls around. Unless they manage to change the rules, there will only be one ballot.

Cruz will most likely not win any more primaries.

Rush is, as always, right. Rush has been fair with both Cruz and Trump but he points out the obvious to people that are paying attention. Cruz will not be the nominee under any circumstances. Not even debatable. If Trump fails to get to the needed delegate count...the second ballot will bypass Cruz and a third ballot will name someone from the GOPe. At this point its impossible for Cruz to get the required amount of delegates.

Cruz walks away leaving his supporters just standing there pretending it didnt happen.

Got to wonder what the GOP is trying to hide? Why are they working so hard, at the risk of political party suicide, to keep Trump out of the nomination? What do they not want us to know???????

There are 77 unpledged delegates out there waiting to be nabbed as a result. So basically what would that be? There are 809 delegates that are available. Now, Trump needs 65% of those remaining, let’s say 732. He needs 65% of those to get to 1,237. So far he’s gotten 45%. Up to now, Trump has secured 45% of all delegates. If Trump got 50% of the remaining delegates, his total would be 1,120 delegates after June 7th. And the number needed is 1,237. >>>> sorry rush you can’t extrapolate. the delegates are selected differently in each state. some winner take all some not.

<>P>But Cruz has been raising money left and right. Nobody's been talking about it, but he's been raising money left and right, just as Crazy Bernie has -- and Crazy Bernie's money, he can go back to his donors over and over again because the most they give at one point is 27 bucks. So Bernie's donors with donate 10 times before they're shut out, and he just keeps going back to 'em.

The GOPe PACs are backing Cruz to stop Trump. Simple as that. Once there is a contested convention, then Kasich, Ryan, Bush, Walker, et. al. come into play.

Rush needs to ask the question, "What has Cruz promised to do to warrant those contributions?" The corporate paymasters call the tune.

If it gets to a third ballot, I have a better chance of being nominated than either Trump or Cruz.

And there will be anger in the streets.

Good old Rush talking down to everyone again.
We’ve been saying, and they have been lying, that the plan all along was to steal the nomination and anoint someone of their choosing - Ryan or Romney - and lose the election.

It WOULD if there were to be a third ballot Rush. But there won’t be. The dynamics of this race have changed totally in Trump’s favor. The fact that Cruz will be mathematically eliminated next Tuesday plus the Colorado disaster and the comments by the head Colorado GOPe thug have/will change(d) this race completely.
Trump will ask voters to vote for him or Romney in a contested convention. That will sell Rush.
The fury voters feel over Colorado will not die down but grow because of the snarky reply from the Colorado GOPe. It will be carried into polling places all across America. Sorry Rush but you and Levin and Stabby the Clown Beck will go down with the good ship Calgary.
