Ted Cruz's SELF SERVING effort Helping to Destroy The GOPe by BYPASSING the VOTER to TAKE DELEGATES. This fellow in the video was a Republican Party State Delegate in Colorado. He was removed from his position because he voted for TRUMP. Not having a Primary, No Caucus, NO PUBLIC VOTE and CRUZ gets All THE DELEGATES. That is Disenfranchising the voters . . . and you don't think their will be a price to pay!

Cruz was used as a tool to promote the never trump position of its GOPe leaders. Cruz celebrated that lack of democracy, thinking they want him.
The party will self-destruct and deserves to destruct. Millions were disenfranchised. Cruz celebrated.
Your history lessons would also tell you that the mechanism for delivery of information throughout this nation was also not instant (as it is today) and that it was an accepted process to use best available means to keep the process going - that meant pre-chosen HONEST people who could make decisions for the general party were the norm. Today is not the case.
“without receiving any citizen votes.”
Trump didn’t receive any citizen votes in Colorado either. The big difference being that Senator Cruz knew how the system worked and put in the effort on the ground.
Funny, I don’t see anything about political parties in the Constitution. And as they are not the Federal Government. . .
I lived in SE OK for a while.
Back to the topic, a famous founder once said, “if the facts are on your side argue the facts, if the law is on your side argue the law, if neither are on your side yell, call them names and bang on the desk.”
So we see where you stand, it shows you’ve already conceded you lost the debate because you can’t argue the first two. Thanks for playing.
When you run out of rational arguments, resort to epithets, misrepresentation or just plain over indulgence of spirits.
Hallelujah! Glory be! Shout it out loud, my brother, shout it out loud!
Yep, those rules about putting a business into the "chapter" are really neat!
When Colorado made these rules changes, they were made expressly with the candidacy of Jeb Bush in mind. The idea was to grease the skids for the guy.
It didn’t work out as planned, tho, with the totally unexpected meteoric rise of Trump, and Jeb’s subsequent disappearance from the race.
Since this was all engineered by establishment party hacks, the decision to ride the changed scenario of establishment anti-Trumpism was an easy one.
On this go-around, anyway, participatory democracy was not on the minds of our GOP-E betters, who apparently think they know better than we do.
In the overall scheme of things, Colorado isn’t very important, but with every “election” that isn’t an election, we see with ever more revealing clarity just who Cruz is, what he does, and how he operates.
I’ll admit - I’m a Trump guy. That being said, The difference between these two men is a chasm, and I simply can’t see myself voting for Cruz...under any circumstance.
CA....
BTW- the party leadership is not who should select our nominee, it’s we the people, your process is anti-liberty.
A big question people should be asking is, how did this sneak up on the Trump campaign? I would assume that as an international businessman he has to make himself familiar with the local laws where he operates. If he cannot be bothered to pay attention to the process, can he be relied upon to accomplish what hes promised to do?
I’m sure the months long media WW3 with the Trump campaign and the never Trump blacklist bullying campaign had no effect on with campaign infrastructure development.
Let's see how that works out for him in November.
*Clue.....he's done after New York. His vast knowledge of "how the system works" mouthing off about New Yorkers, tells the opposite story...just watch.
******************************************
There is so much ignorance in this statement, that I don't even know how to start.
The constitution says nothing about picking the nominee to a political party. In fact, the party was the one who picked their nominee up until the early 1900’s. The people never had a direct vote.
Plus, the GOP is a private organization, not part of the government. They can run it anyway they want.
Finally read a story where it was caucus votes that gave Cruz all CO’s delegates rather than a state-wide primary vote. CO’s people were cheated.
Trump lost because he is stupid and arrogant and doesn’t have a clue what the republican rules are because he is a liberal democrat and always has been and if he gets the nomination he will rule as a liberal democrat and throw a few bones to the people who voted for him
What’s with all this “king” stuff in your posts today?
Have you become anal-retentive or something?
CA....
Colorado has been overrun with dope smoking liberals. They probably thought a republican primary election would be more or less meaningless and decided to “play it safe”.
” but Cruz read the rulebook, and played by the rules, no matter how byzantine”
So you admit Cruz is as slimy as Clinton and Obama.
The last time some junior Senator whose supporters claimed he was the Messiah and was a Harvard lawyer with a questionable citizenship talked like that we got Obama. Different party, same attitude.
I'm the one he made the statement too. I just told him he was a moron... which is pretty much dead on target.
Its only been 30 years since DT started talking about running for president. how long did it take us to learn that the party makes the rules. Why didnt he start his own party and make up his own rules?
