What other suicidal nations take in foreign nationals as officers in their military?

I know the obvious ones, but this seems to happen almost every year in ours.

Another turncoat found who was foreign. Bad enough we have commies who are native, but you’d think we’d learn?

It’s not hard to guess what happens to nations that begin using foreign auxiliaries as their soldiers.

I seem to remember a few years ago that the USN CNO and CINCPAC were kissing Chinese asses to smooth over rough spots in USA/Chinese naval relations. Look how far that got. Remember a couple of years ago when a Chinese sub surfaced within the security zone of a US carrier and the captain soiled his trow. They ain’t scared of us and they’re looking for a fight.

Arminius comes to mind.

Israel
England
France

Just off the top of my head.

Pretty standard way of earning citizenship.

There is also a long list of turncoats who were American born and raised.

Aldrich Ames and Robert Hansen were both born here and both likely caused much more damage than this Lt. Cmdr.
