Back in the day, an adult male (note: not a ‘man’), if convicted of assault, would have been offered a choice by a judge. The choice would be jail time or a hitch in the military. Time spent in olive green versus right orange might improve his attitude and turn him into a useful citizen.

We had a guy something like this (but nowhere near as violent, he just refused to do anything) when I was in high school. The school kept him locked in a storage room until he was old enough to expel.

Correct. Private, tuition-funded schools aren’t forced to accept anyone’s money-—yet. But just give the SJWs time to re-think school vouchers, and thousands of little Maliks will be flooding the private schools as well, and the taxpayers will be picking up the tab.
Because private schools = “the rich” + “white privilege.”

Absolutely. An administrator’s job is to make things look good to the outside. Don’t make waves. After some poor kid on a school bus was beaten so severely that he had to get medical treatment, it came out that the kid had been bullied repeatedly by his attacker. The parents had gone to the school many times to complain, but nothing happened. When this attack made it into the local news, the principal of the school said, “We don’t have bullying at our school. We have a no tolerance for bullying policy.” And there you have it.
Clearly the school does not have a “three strikes” rule.
I agree; in my area Catholic schools no longer have the luxury of being selective. They are closing so quickly due to low enrollment (due in turn to high property taxes - 75% of which is “public school tuition”), they’ll bend over backwards to keep students enrolled.
A good boot in the ass was how ODD was handled in my day.
