Under Obama and sadly Bush before him the feds don’t need no stinking warrants.

There is no presumption of privacy on a public street and therefore no warrant is required to take pictures in public.

However there can be a trespassing charge leveed for unauthorized attaching of equipment to a power pole.

Power companies charge rent for other companies use of their poles.

I’ll betcha the ATF suited up in power company uniforms to do their dirty deed, which is also another crime. Or worse, the power company knew about it. Or even sneakier, a 3am climb up the pole dressed in black.
