I think if I were the cop and knew who he was, I’d go long out of my way to see he wasn’t arrested and to make sure wasn’t a danger to himself or others.

There are cameras and mics on cops now. There is no ability to use discretion.
Not only that, any call in with license number requires a need to do so and that is on record.
