The Paid DC Shills Continue – Erick Erickson Now Attacks Paul Ryan Primary Opponent…

It’s predictable; it’s transparent (if you dig into it); and yet it remains as one of the most undiscussed aspects to the current political climate:

Multi-media political pundits, including big name National Radio Talk Show Hosts, being paid by DC operatives, Super-PACs, and Campaigns to protect the establishment figures. (see here)

They hide, at least they try to, behind layers of constructed LLC’s intended to protect them from sunlight. They also rely upon delays in legally required reporting timeframes to carry out their goals and avoid discovery until after they have been successful in their efforts.

Paid GOPe shill Erickson says Trump's ceiling is "33 to 35 percent." But he has received 37 percent of the popular vote - with 15 candidates

MUST READ FOR ALL FREEPERS. I have wondered why Erikson fills in for Rush.

Man, this is painful. But Rush has not even mentioned that Ryan has an opponent. Why does a guy with his own jet plane need to sell out his audience?

We know in Wisconsin that Ryan has an opponent and anyone running against Ryan gets my vote.

Why does a guy with his own jet plane need to sell out his audience?

Because all his "stuff" owns him, instead of the other way 'round. Over the years, Rush has likely made investments with other people, who might not have the same political views. Also, when you become wealthy, your perspective changes. Protecting your wealth becomes more important, and that requires a different mindset.

Along those same lines, once these guys get rich, they convince themselves that their personal interests haven't changed a wit - that those interests still match those of the general public. They rationalize that they are still speaking for the little guy when nothing could be further from the truth. Rush admits his hobnobbing ego boosting associations with the rich and famous crowd. Yet, he would want us to believe it doesn't negatively affect his views in the slightest. Levin also will not acknowledge his obvious conflicts of interests, arrogantly maintaining that his personal life has nothing to do with his “fair and balanced” radio message. These are guys who smack us and common sense in the face and want us to believe them. Unfortunately for them, we were not born yesterday and we are no ones patsy.

It’s not just Erick Erickson getting paid either. Ben Shapiro is being paid, Mark Levin is being paid, Glenn Beck is being paid, Rush Limbaugh is being paid, iHeartMedia is being paid, the Beasely Group is being paid, Hugh Hewitt is being paid, Michael Medved is being paid. The entire Salem Media Communications enterprise (broadcast radio and web-based content) is making hundreds of thousands off of these political payments for punditry.

Paid campaign propaganda by the GOPe masquerades as news. Ever wonder why during a news cycle there seems to be a daily or weekly meme being pushed by virtually *all* of the media? Payoffs is why.

Ground Game = Payoffs

I don't know if this is true these days, but years ago Rush claimed he put his money in tax free bonds, as he is both risk and tax averse.

I've heard him say that over the years. Ok, what happens when municipal or state bonds (these are the predominant type of tax-free bonds) face issues because their issuer is near bankruptcy? Think Detroit or Birmingham. Guess what, all of a sudden your worldview on the need for a federal bailout of cities and states changes, doesn't it?

Wherever you park your money has the potential to change your worldview along those lines. In Rush's case, I imagine taking out bonds on the Verrazano Bridge and other NYC stuff to cut down on his old New York tax liability, the kind of stuff an auditor can't argue with.
