While NYC is the supposedly the greatest city in the world, cough, cough, it is known to be liberal and progressive. So if a city has NY values it's liberal. If it has Cheyenne values, it's conservative. Where the insecure geraldo got that, I will never know. I was born in the Bronx.
It would have been so simple to say “NY progressive values,” wouldn’t it?

Isn’t that the truth. With the exception of Dobbs and Varney, and Judge Jeanine, I dont watch them any longer either. Each “contributor” is scripted. All you need to know is what the question is, and who’s going to be there and you can save watching at all. You can “visualize” all of it in your mind. As far as Whorealdo is concerned, this is his schtick, being “contrversial.” It’s how a moron “stays relevant!”
I’ve lived in the city and now way upstate as well. I support Cruz. He’s spot on. What are considered NY values today are not my values. I’m stuck here until retirement.
I worry that many have either no conservative standards or have forgotten them.

Cruz isn't antisemitic, Geraldo's charge is absurd. Not living anywhere near New York I've never heard the phrase New York values. When I was younger I did hear the phrase New York Jews, which applied to loud mouthed, obnoxious, pushy Jewish people. Never heard it applied to a non Jew. Maybe that's what New York Values is.

Couple things I should have included in my comment.
It’s a term I encountered in southern Florida visiting my midwestern wife’s family.
Also Geraldo’s comment betrays his own bias few Jews in the upper midwest, yet Cruz’s pro Israel stance was an asset in Iowa. Neighboring liberal Wi and Mn have miniscule Jewish populations yet frequently are represented by Jewish senators. Sometimes two at a tome.
The bias he displays is a northeastern liberal bias far more than midwestern or rural
Ted is not an anti-semite. An absurd implication. But in politics it’s not about truth it’s about creating a fiction and repeating it enough times so that it can be portrayed as truth. Ted, implicating Trump’s campaign in violence by inference because of the obstructionist and violent aggressive behavior of the left is getting a taste of his own medicine.
