Ted Cruz’s campaign stop in the Bronx is a complete dud
The New York Post ^ | April 6, 2016 | Bob Fredericks

There are more than 1.4 million people in the Bronx — but Ted Cruz couldn’t even muster 100 at a campaign event in Parkchester with state Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr., a conservative Christian minister.

Cruz visited the Sabrosura Chinese-Dominican restaurant, where Diaz said the presidential candidate could “listen to the social, economic and spiritual needs of our community” while dining with other clergymen on the eatery’s famed fried rice and plantains.

It is going to be a long two weeks for Cruz.

Gonna be a long two weeks for ME. The Cruzies have somehow gained yet another level of utter insufferability.

I might just quit FR for two weeks until the next primaries at this rate.

Amazing coincidence. Just 5 FR posts prior to this, someone else linked to yet another article from this same New York Post. That one was entitled “Newly discovered planet could destroy Earth any day now”. Is this newspaper absolutely on top of things, or what?

Stick around. Schadenfreude can be fun. Many of them are uniparty ops and "True Believers."

There’s NOTHING at all “wrong” with the N.Y. Post and it’s a good newspaper. Alexander Hamilton founded it hundreds of years ago and it’s still a VERY viable newspaper!

If they thought the south (”Isn’t that nice?”) was rough, the Cruzeros just got a taste of NYC attitude: “Go **** ya self, and ya mudda too.”
It’s going to be a long week or so for them. That’s too bad.

Well, that's good to know there exists a publication that hasn't gone downhill one bit since Alexander Hamilton's day. Who woulda thought it?

And since I don't read it, I'll be depending on you to watch its daily updates to warn me when that "newly discovered planet" that's about to destroy life on earth "any day now" is almost here. (Could I please have at least 12 hours notice, if possible?)

I'm sure there are other Freepers who want to be forewarned, so perhaps you'd consider creating an FR Ping List for The New York Post's Daily Planet Watch? Thank you in advance.

It's about time. Cruz can win Wisconsin, the breeding ground for GOP elite backstabbers, but gets 100 at a NYC rally. Maybe it's time for a media reality check. Do they seriously want to listen to Ted being pompous until November?

That’s depressing, because usually New York is a great place for conservatives.

I agree, Cruz will be crushed in the NE (and probably not get the nomination). That being said, anyone who’s been on FR for a while knows that the NE is a bastion of True Conservatism(tm). /s

If you think Cruz represents true conservatism, there is a bridge for sale in Brooklyn that you might be interested in buying.

By next week, they will be quieted when Cruz gets crushed in NY.

If you are a globalist, you are not a conservative. Conservatism begins with America first.

If you agree with that statement then you are a conservative. If you don't, then you are a Cruz supporter.

Sampleman, perhaps Cruz should have his rallies on Tuesdays.
