[Donald] Trumps second-place finish to Sen. Ted Cruz (Tex.) in Tuesdays Wisconsin Republican primary may represent no ordinary setback, write the Washington Posts Karen Tumulty, Jose A. DelReal and Robert Costa. It appears to be a pivot pointalthough it has yet to be seen whether the trajectory from here points downward or upward.
~snip~
The last time he faced the prospect of venturing into hostile territorywhen his rally in Chicago was overrun by left-wing disruptorshe ended up bugging out. If he fails to secure a majority of delegates, perhaps rather than endure defeat in Cleveland he will find a way to withdraw ungraciously before the convention.

Just got through reading some of your posts....you’re no wall flower.....it seems you can pass it out but cant take it!!
The polls of hill vs DT are useless because Trump hasn’t even started in on Hellary. He’s already defeated Jeb and the others and now Cruz has been mathematically eliminated.
So does Trump....more funny math!!!
Cruz fans..seriously.. if you want to display that Ted is indeed not a Uniparty stooge bought and owned by globalists, quit posting and crowing over articles written by globalists and Uniparty stooges. It kinda defeats your point.
C'mon...you are feeding ammunition to our circular firing squad
The liberals enjoy seeing us divided.
No kidding. Cruz supporters: “I stand with the WSJ!”
Two weeks ...
Haha their answer is he is playing for the 2nd and 3rd ballot. You know, after blasting other candidates for not dropping out when they couldn’t reach 1,237.
But then hypocrisy is what Ted does best
We all know what Cruz supporters are... stealth Hillary agents.
“Cause thats all you got.”
No silly rabbit. All you need to beat Cruz is Cruz. He is a ready made Humpty Dumpty served up to the DNC on a silver platter.
Vote Cruz. Hillary thanks you.
Two weeks after that!!!!
Abortion isn't an issue for the presidential race as abortions don't fall under the responsibility of the executive branch of the Federal government. Trump has never changed his position which is being personally against abortions... and that's about all any president can do about that issue.
Was any other candidate asked a similar trick question.... "If abortions were ILLEGAL, then...."? No, of course no other candidate would ever be asked a trick question like that.
As for Sanders... he has no plans to win anything. His job is simply to make it look like Hillary's working for her nomination. He's careful to avoid issues like her 2,000+ felonies relating to the emails, or her illegal money flowing into the foundation from foreign donors. He doesn't want to accidentally win the nomination... that would be embarrassing.
Now that’s funny as crap. I love Cruzlims but man that’s good.
These peeps are feeling haughty today - is there any data to show that Cruz gained actual support and it wasn’t just 6 weeks of #nevertrump baloney?
Au contraire my friend, the scales have simply fallen from our collective eyes. The uniparty has always existed, along with its various house organs that reinforced various memes to keep the sheep in line.
To borrow a certain phrase, "once you go Trump, you never go back". It's not necessarily Trump per se, but the crystal clear realization that the system has been rigged from the git-go.
That's why millions of voters will never support a GOPe engineered candidate.
These people are ridiculous. Let’s see what they say after April 19th.
I agree. Either one and I’m happy. Anybody but cankles or rumplehair.
“Just got through reading some of your posts....youre no wall flower.”
It isnt about being a wallflower. I’m down for a good back and forth. That’s no problem with me.
It’s when some of these guys are obviously trolling, looking for a reaction, is when it is clear that they need to go.
That is why a large number of Cruz people had to be booted off by JimRob himself. Because they take it too far and dont know when to give it a rest.
I did not see anything he did that would be considered taking it to far!!!
“These peeps are feeling haughty today - is there any data to show that Cruz gained actual support and it wasnt just 6 weeks of #nevertrump baloney?”
He’s just the “not Trump” until the Gope can get to the convention. They want to keep Trump under that magic number so they can have “cover”.
If they thought they could just hand it to Jeb or Romney right now, and suffer no backlash, they would do just that.
I have a quibble. It's the dung heap of history.
