A short version of the case:

1. Build the wall, stop illegal immigration.
2. Halt all current muslim immigration. Crush ISIS.
3. Revive the economy with free market capitalism.
4. Repeal and replace bamster care with Medical IRA's and free market principles.
5. Rebuild the military to be the strongest in the world again, reward our Vets.
6. Cut spending of everything except the military.

Once he starts doing that, we can debate about what's conservative again, okay?

Ahem. Are you a Trump guy?

If so, maybe you’d better pull your boy aside.

The villain in the scenario you paint is Donald Trump.

Donald Trump will lose in a contested convention and Cruz will win.

In that case, we will have the candidate we should have had all along, a proven conservative and constitution lover.

We will then have the candidate who can win.

So, if Trump runs as an independent, he will not only be horribly humiliated but he will be a traitor as he will hand the country to the dems.

Only a person of Trump’s vanity would even consider doing that.

I think you should re-think that whole scenario... it does not hold water.

Cruz is in this race to keep America Free.

That is something Trump disdains, and will never be concerned with.

Trump is in this to satisfy his adolescent ego, just as his own sister has said.

One of the highest an most noble goals in this election is keeping all those of Trump’s ilk (including Hildabeast and Bernie) from wiping out our freedom. That can only be done by getting Ted Cruse elected.

This is for all of the marbles, not just Donnie’s pride.

If Trump does that, it will be more conservatism accomplished in this country since Grant took Richmond.

>> an arranged winner amongst a few delegates that aren’t necessarily representing the constituents <<

The vast majority of the delegates will be conservative hometown folks who were selected by their local and state Republican caucuses, primaries and conventions. They won’t have been selected by some cabal of Rove and Priebus acolytes in Wash DC.

Mostly these hometown delegates will vote on the first ballot as their state party’s regulations and their state’s election laws dictate, and normally they will be pledged to one candidate or another.

But on the second ballot, most will be allowed to exercise independent judgment, while trying to balance the desires of their hometown constituents with the electability and policy stances of the various candidates.

And here is an absolutely critical point:

This kind of informed exercise of independent judgement is the essence of decision making in a constitutional republic. It’s why we have representative government instead of plebiscitary democracy. In other words, it’s the fundamental difference between a republic and a democracy.

> Cruz is in this race to keep America Free.

Heidi Cruz endorses the CFR plan for a North American Union. This plan calls for dissolving borders. http://i.cfr.org/content/publications/attachments/NorthAmerica_TF_final.pdf

“Ted” Cruz voted for TPA.

Cruz is a globalist. You’ve been drinking kool-aid.

But Cruz has held conservative positions all his life.

Trump has held them (off and on) for a few years.

What’s not ideal about Cruz winning a contested convention?

I think it is an ideal scenario.

Read the document.

Here, from page 33:

I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us—truly the measure of our success. As such, investment fundsand financingmechanisms shouldbe deemedattractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants. - Heidi S. Cruz

Here, page 10:

The three governments should commit themselves to the long-term goal of dramatically diminishing the need for the current intensity of the governments’ physical control of cross-border traffic, travel, and trade within North America. A long-term goal for a North American border action plan should be joint screening of travelers from third countries at their first point of entry into North America and the elimination of most controls over the temporary movement of these travelers within North America.

Harsh? I think it was kind of understated. Perhaps if you just check out your own posting history for a week, you might understand.

Too harsh, my FRiend, much too harsh.

Remember this:

Mr. Trump assured us that he can be anything he wants to be. So if class indeed is needed, he’ll be able to turn it on in a flash.

>> It will depend upon the delegates.....I fear RINOs <<

Do you mean all those delegates from middle American, like the hometown sheriffs, county commissioners, school board members and election volunteers who have been active in local GOP affairs for who-knows-how-many years? Yeah, they’re pretty scary folks. You’re right to fear them, because they may not appreciate the overwhelming electability of Mr. Trump.

'editor-surveyor' could not edit himself out of a brown paper bag, and his 'surveying' skills are probably not far behind.

You are quickly becoming a drooling nutjob.

A minor edit there SJB. e-s is nothing but ZOT-fodder these days, just give it time.
