Treating climate change as an absolute, unassailable fact, instead of what it is an unproven, controversial scientific theory [1], a group of state attorneys general have announced that they will be targeting any companies that challenge the catastrophic climate change religion.
Speaking at a press conference on March 29, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said [2] The bottom line is simple: Climate change is real. He went on to say that if companies are committing fraud by lying about the dangers of climate change, they will pursue them to the fullest extent of the law.
The coalition [3] of 17 inquisitors are calling themselves AGs United for Clean Power. The coalition consists of 15 state attorneys general (California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, and Washington State), as well as the attorneys general of the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Sixteen of the seventeen members are Democrats, while the attorney general for the Virgin Islands, Claude Walker, is an independent.

A better comparison is the “Cultural Revolution”.
If Trump said someone should be punished for being a climate change denier, would he still be getting roasted in the media?
Yep, some of what we see happening today, resembles the upheaval in China during their so called “Cultural Revolution”.
I sometimes wonder, how the heck did we get to this point? Is this the full flowering of the upheavals of the ‘60s, matured and metasticized???
Nobody expected this!
More likely hailed as a true visionary. I heard some of the unbelievable garbage out of the wh yesterday about this. Srsly?
Yep, starting in the 60s they infiltrated academia and we see the results today.

Yep, starting in the 60s they infiltrated academia and we see the results today.
Yep, they sure have infiltrated.
I’m old enough to remember the stereotype of the conservative college professor, who wore a sport coat with elbow patches. That stereotypical college professor is long gone in reality............
Correct me if I’m wrong, the left seems to have moved to the far right, and the right has moved to the center. While the right is trying to find its way within the political playing field, the Left is making a hard turn towards fascism. Did I miss anything else?
The 60s sucked (IMO).
Leftism is just another form of Fascism, just less snappier uniforms.
“Nobody expected this!”
I see what you did there.
Our main weapons are fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and a fanatical devotion to junk science!
The idea that fascism is “far-right” is a big lie. Fascism is a leftist ideology just like communism and socialism. All 3 are rooted in a centralized, all powerful government not individual liberty and inalienable rights.
Nope - nailed it.
I suppose this means we are not allowed to say
I’m certain right thinking people saw this coming a mile away as I did. Going after companies is easy - simply demonize. As the Climate Nazi’s continue, they will turn neighbor against neighbor because of your ‘carbon footprint’. We are not far from being taxed / restricted on driving too much, using an older gas guzzling vehicle, not having efficient enough house, producing too many cattle/eating too much meat.
And if you don’t think the radical left is already there, and beyond, think again.
Because it’s all in the name of ‘protecting the planet for our future generations’! I mean as a conservative we want our kids to have a planet to live on, right?
