I recall reading a long “Investigative Reporter” type article about her murder. The article was pretty in-depth and had evidence of numerous phone calls, etc. reporting the crime to the police. It turns out that the original reporting on the whole thing was pretty inaccurate and built up in such a way as to paint the people of New York (or perhaps humanity in general) as uncaring.

Good! I remember this bastard when I was a new hack at Auburn Prison in 1980. He was an Administrative Building porter back then. Kind of a cush job for somebody who’d not only committed rape and murder, but who escaped from Attica, held hostages, and raped the wife while the husband had to watch. He should have died a long time ago. Have fun in Hell Winston.

This was a horrible crime. The ID Network did an excellent presentation of most of the facts you described last year in an episode of their series ‘A Crime to Remember.” You might want to check it out, it was riveting. Kitty Genovese is described by people who knew her as a good soul and died a terrible death. Mosely was a true psychopath and should have been put to death decades ago.
