Porn star Amber Rayne has been found dead at her home at the age of 31, it has been reported.
The adult film star, who has been in the industry for 10 years, is believed to have died in her sleep while at her Los Angeles home, reports AVN.
While her exact cause of death remains unknown at this time, Rayne is believed to have died on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
Speaking to AVN, director Stormy Daniels, said: She was a really good friend, and one of the best actresses and performers that I've ever had the pleasure to work with, and I'm just glad that I had the opportunity to work with her and call her a friend.

“””Really???
Have any porn movie stars made it in legitimate movies?? I just had never heard of pornography being a minor league or bush league team for mainstream entertainment.””””
Sylvester Stallone for one.
(llevrok seen slowly walking away, whistling softly.....)
Like Robin Williams said, “Cocaine is God’s way of telling you you’ve got too much money.”
Ron Jeremy.
One good reason is that if she works in poren movies, she doesn’t need to read well, know math, write a complete sentence, remember her chemistry, or her computer science.
All she needs to know is how to take direction
If you are thinking of the Duke lacrosse team case, she is in prison for murdering her boyfriend.
A lot of drug addicts.
Me too.
AIDS, drug overdose, suicide, alcoholism.
Then again, his figures only took into account those people who were still "porn stars" at the time of death. Those who leave porn behind and try their best to live a regular life, are not going to advertise in their obituaries that they were former porn stars.
“In porn, 31 is the new 41.”
31 is the new 27. What are the odds of it being an overdose?
I think some generalizations are apt here:
1. Not too bright
2. Sexual abuse/deviancy at a young age.
3. Heavy use/addiction to drugs.
4. Low self esteem.
Nice, typical media headline. There is not even a suspicion that the guy she accused of rape had anything to do with her death, but you wouldn’t know it scanning the headline.
No, not thinking of the Duke lacrosse team case.
This is a different case. There is a student from Duke, Miriam Weeks, who went into porn, and claimed she was doing so because she didn’t get enough financial aid.

Well, any job requires that you take direction. Sex work is mostly looks and natural “talent”. And that “talent” is much more rare than good looks IMO.
Some girls just move a certain way naturally and make men go nuts. They can be wearing a burka and cleaning out a sewer yet still look sexy from a block away
1) The money is amazing. He said that he made more in it, than he ever would at a job he could put on his resume.
2) The experience was disillusioning. He said that he went to a few photo shoots (this was back in the days of mostly dial-up, before online video was ubiquitous). Photo shoots were "As sexy as going to McDonald's and ordering a Hamburger." Said that the girls would be...ahem...getting serviced, while talking to others on set, or on their phones with their agent setting up the next shoot, or whatever. Seriously yawn-inducing, it really popped his bubble.
“All she needs to know is how to take direction”
The old punch line was “take dictation.”
She was 25 in that photo ?!!!!.wow...hard life
From way back, I remember one girl claiming she was in it to pay for veterinary school, another for med school, etc.
Some, but by no means all. These ‘producers’ entice young people, usually 18-25 and runaways, with $$ and drugs, usually cocaine, and tales of ‘making it big’ in movies and being a ‘big star’ in some undefined future.
I’ve met some of these guys in South Florida, and they just use these people like cattle and dispose of them when they get ‘too old’ or ‘unpretty’...............
