Sen. Ted Cruz is out-hustling Donald Trump and looks set to ensure many Arizona delegates will defect to him in a convention floor fight.
The Texas senator, who ever since Iowa has played a stealthy ground game in contrast to Trump's chaotic populism, is taking steps to snatch the Republican presidential nomination from The Donald at the convention in July.
The New York businessman easily won last month's Arizona primary taking 47 percent to Cruz's 25 percent, scooping up all 58 of the state's delegates. That's nearly 5 percent of the 1,237 Trump needs for the nomination, and they're tied are to him on the first ballot.
But Cruz, exploiting deep opposition to Trump among grassroots Republicans, has been far more active in Arizona than Trump, insiders say. He's recruiting candidates for the available 55 delegate slots, that along with the other three delegate positions filled by party leaders, would be allowed to vote for him in a multi-ballot contested convention.

That has been thoroughly debunked. That is a list of potential voters - basically, a list of everyone who lived in the area. It was given to enumerators, whose job it was to go door to door and verify if the people were eligible to vote, if they were registered to vote, and if the names were correct, etc. The presence of their names on the list does not mean they were registered to vote or that they actually had voted.
Also, you should note that the list was from 1974, 4 years after Ted was born. So even if they were registered to vote at that point, it would have been immaterial to the question of Ted's citizenship. At the time Ted was born, they had not lived in Canada long enough to become citizens, even if they had wanted to.
Trumpkins keep beating these dead horses long after they have been debunked.
But that delay will be overcome.

If the process is SO complicated that it can be manipulated against a popular vote within a representative process, then it is ripe for corruption and influece - which is exactly what is going on.

The delegates supporting the losers should switch to the candidate that is actually popular with the voters in order to give their party the best chance in the general election. It’s common sense to everyone but Cruz supporters.

I am willing to bet that 99% of ALL judges have spent zero time personally looking into/researching the originalist meaning of the term natural born Citizen.
BTW, “birther” - yeah, people were tagged with that because they thought obama MIGHT have been born in a foreign country, they were laughed at for the conspiracy theory. There is NO “theory” where Cruz is concerned, he was absolutely born in a foreign country. It is also a fact that there has never been a US President who has been born on foreign soil.
The originalist meaning of “natural born” is the only thing that is being debated now. But keep in mind that there are overwhelming sources that prove the understanding that one MUST be native born on US soil to qualify. Again, a judge probably determines that if Cruz is a citizen - that is close enough.
If you were to research the dozen or so attempts made since the 70s to have the “natural born” requirement amended to allow those NOT native born to be eligible, you would see that even contemporary politicians knew. Yes, and some republicans joined in the effort to open the Presidency up to non-native born, Issa among them.
I don’t expect the judges, mostly leftists, to dig deeply into the topic. Don’t be surprised if the very next person ruled eligible is a immigrant who has been naturalized for ten years. That is what has been in the last few resolutions presented - that stopped when obama was elected for some reason. But that is their next goal - it just makes it so much easier when you confuse the masses as to what a natural born citizen is, and more importantly, is it even relevant anymore? With our big world, so connected with technology and with travel so easy, it’s as though borders have been erased anyway.

The only question left is if Trump will get a tad more than the half needed to secure the nomination on the 1st ballot.
If he does, the Cruz supporters will vote for him in November.

If Cruz’s mama was not born the USA, if her birth certificate is a forgery of his Grandmother’s, who was born in Delaware (why who would do such a thing), then that sure changes a lot. Let the experts examine the facts before deriding it as mere rumor, then we can move on.
The establishment is using Cruz as a tool and will never let him advance to the WH
