In case anyone is unaware: All this talk about "1237 delegates means Trump is the nominee" is BUNK.
That so-called "rule" is a temporary rule that can be changed at the convention. Therefore, Trump is not guaranteed the nomination even if he gets 1237, or 1400, or even 2000 delegates.
They can change the rule to suit their #NeverTrump plan, and make the requirement 1 delegate more than however many Trump has.
On the O'Reilly Factor tonight, Eric Bolling confirmed this. There are 42 convention rules in the rule book. Rules #26 through #42 are Temporary Rules that are written and voted on at the convention. The rule about 1237 delegates falls under Rule 40 D & E. That means they can change the requirement to 2000 delegates if they want to.
Make no mistake: They plan to steal the election from Trump and put in their own people: Ryan, Romney, Rubio, Bush, etc. For those of you who support Cruz or Kasich, please wake up. It won't be Cruz, and it won't be Kasich.

The 1237 Rule Can (and will) Be Changed At The Convention

I was looking into the fake twitter accounts - all sorts of spoof sites. “Play pranks on your friends!”
Even more disconcerting was the instructions on youtube (by kids!) showing how to go into the code in somebody’s actual Twitter account and add a post with your own text into their real twitter account. Although I imagine with those the real owner can just delete it when they see the hacked message. Although by that time the hacker can take an image of the twitter post and spread it around.
And afterwards “Well sure they deleted their post. Would you want something like that for the whole world to see! They must have been drunk when they posted it!”
Only when the election is rigged as in Lisa Murkowski.
Maybe not the Congress but almost certainly the Senate will go to the dems.
No. Sorry for the confusion. I wrote the text. Bolling was the interviewer of Priebus on the video.
If you say so. I hope you’re right.
Priebus, when referring to someone getting 1237 delegates, uses the term “presumptive nominee.” He doesn’t say “nominee.”
Parsing words? Or being ultra precise?
You’re right. Sanders is also change to the status quo. That’s why the establishment want Clinton.
Or one of their guys (Ryan, Romney, Rubio, Bush).
It’s all a charade. As many of us have said, this really is now a banana republic.
And who are those delegates? A lot of them, how many depending on each state's selection rules, are party hacks who know the ropes to become delegates. They'll vote against the rule and then say "but I voted for Trump" on the actual ballot. We are SO used to that game in DC.
The only answer is we will not accept anyone else, and the party is over if it happens. Personally, I will not vote for anyone who has endorsed or in the future endorses any Republican except for Trump. (I hope Senator Portman and our local state rep enjoy their new careers)
The dems rigged the nomination ahead of time. Their convention environment could get weird, too. If the political party gets away with this it is OVER for our political freedoms and for the US as an independent lation with a future.
Did you know they don’t count write ins unless the candidate has gone through a near-impossible process to be accepted as a write-in candidate?
GOPe does this kind of crap and there will be a whole passel of folks who wil never again vote for any GOP candidate.
The elites don’t care they just want to keep milking the golden goose.
I fully expect the RNC to flatten tires, steal car parts, distribute false scheduling information and twist arms so that delegates voluntarily nullify their own votes “for the good of the party.”
Bolling referring to himself in the 3rd person?
his website has been down since yesterday
I was just on his website. Do you mean his FB page? I’m not on FB, so I can’t check. TIA.
It is the same here in Michigan. And many others state I believe.
Yep. I’m having no problem getting on, and navigating, his website. Are you?
website has been that way since last night
