Amanda Carpenter, a top aide to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), is leaving his office to return to conservative commentary under her own name. Carpenter announced the move Tuesday in a message to colleagues that was first reported by Roll Call. She will leave Cruz's office on July 5.
“Looking back, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to create #MakeDCListen, help with Sen. Cruz’s Gridiron speech, and contribute to his flawless presidential launch — as well as countless other memorable tweets, jokes, lines, talkers, statements, op-eds, and other items. We’ve been in high gear since Day 1 and I’m very proud of what we’ve done together,” Carpenter wrote........... Carpenter joined Cruz's office as a speechwriter and senior communications adviser in early 2013, before being promoted to communications director in the fall.

A ‘snitch’ reports that he/she ‘heard ted had sex in a closet’ (The woman denies it)
an ‘insider’ (unnamed of course) says ‘it is alleged’ that Ted had affair with one of his staff
Another ‘Snitch’ says that someone ‘caught Ted and another woman ‘getting cozy together’ on the campaign trail
Another ‘insider’ Says a ‘4’th woman= MAY HAVE - had an affair
another ‘source’ claims Ted has had sex with a prositute-
and the final ‘devastating evidence’ ‘reported’ by the National Enquirer? A blogger- Yes, a blogger has said essentially that Ted is ‘utterly destroyed’ as a CHristian man
And the NE ‘reported that Ted had a drinking problem sometime in the past- (As though this somehow solidifies the slimy cheating rumors)
Well there you have it folks- the ‘devastating evidence’ that every anti-cruz hack assured us was ‘going to destroy Ted’- first they assured us it was coming out last monday- then they said “Just wait- it’s coming out on Thursday- Ted is finished” And they even went so far as to assure everyone that there was ‘video, photographic, audio and DNA evidence that the NE was going to release-
Funny how main stream media has turned away from the story, and how even though the story was shopped around to bloggers for months after reputable news stations wouldn’t touch it, none of them took it seriously because nothing could be substantiated-
It may be an old article, but it is relevant that it contains information about an alleged affair from before Trump even entered the race.

Welcome to the real world. In the rest of America, guess what kind of look you get if you tell an employer to pay you based on what “you need”.
They care what value you generate for them and almost nothing else. And you can do fine in DC on 50k. Oh, you may not buy a classic charming house like you see in the movies, stylishly furnished, go for 150 dollar haircuts, eat out every night, etc. You might drive a crappy car, you might live a distance out, with roommates.
But that’s what the rest of the world already does.
Out with it, WHO pays your salary? Who put you up to signing up for FR with a single agenda and then planting a story?

Kirsten Powers said it was known for a while, Roger Stone named the AP and WaPo I believe. There was a story, or stories, out there for months. I believe Cruz is hiding something, but don’t trust the entirety of the NE story.

I’m guessing the TDS afflicted Ben Shapiro is the one who spiked the story to protect Cruz, and who left in a huff when the Breitbart management would not support Fields scam (having seen the videos and stills, they made a wise decision or they would be paying her legal fees and sharing her eventual journo-slut walk of shame)
