Yes. That's because Michelle Fields was in the process of assaulting Donald Trump (any unwanted physical contact is assault, even if it doesn't "hurt" you).

I see your point but I’m willing to think she was just being a reporter.
To me “assault” implies intent to do harm.
Neither Lewandowski nor Michelle sought to harm.

You’re going way out on a limb to grasp at straws and what’s worse is that the straws you’re attempting to reach are weaker than that limb.
