I got sick to my stomach last year when I ran over a squirrel, but there’s no way I was going to risk an accident, he just darted out onto the street at the wrong time. I’d never run over an animal before, I can only imagine the trauma of running over someone’s pet.

That being said, still, not worth risking your life to avoid it.

When we were a mostly rural society the killing of animals for food and other legitimate reasons was an normal fact of life.

Just your reaction of being sick because you ran over a small varmint.

Shows how far from are roots we have come.

What is going to happen when some thing real tragic happens.

Well you be able to function and save your life or someone else’s.

Suicide squirrels. It is what they do.

They wait til the last minute, then dart out, and hope to take you out with them.

Don't fall for it.

Hang on the wheel, maybe a little turn, but don't fall for it, your life is much more important, and your husband/wife/kids will not have to go to your funeral.

I “pressed” opossums twice into the street. It’s called ‘crow’s breakfast’.
